Olive Affaire in John Street, Sunderland, is a cosy Greek bistro, which also caters for take-away.
The place is cosy, and the staff very welcoming.
We ordered the chicken yeero's and a beftaki (sorry about spelling) burger, which were served with chips and salad leaves with citrus dressing.

Brilliant food, really well priced. Nice little place. Really friendly staff. Portion size great. Catered to me being picky too. Honestly, the chips were amazing, the bread in the wrap was amazing, everything was amazing. Will definitely be back.

My gosh, what a hidden little gem! Recommended by my brother with whom I visited today. Absolutely delicious food - I had the Greek sausage wrap - coupled with excellent, personable service and awesome prices means I will be definitely returning very soon!
All the way down from Scotland to have the best grub ever. Had the herculean wrap and it was immense, bursting with flavour and can't fault the staff coz their so friendly. Defo my favourite place to go for grub in Sunderland!
Absolutely lush restaurant. You probably have walked passed it a million times, but you need to go in. Friendly staff authentic food you will struggle finding elsewhere. Brings a bit of an eastern european way of hosting customers. I love the way the restaurant feels like you are in a house.
