Nice pub shame about some of the customers one came into our area to make a phone call which the whole put could hear both sides as he had it on speaker phone and was shouting obscenities. He left the room when he had finished!!! Only reason for staying was the Nice bar maid and nice Doombar beer.
Awesome real ale , so clear and clean . Bar staff absolutely wonderful, would seriously recommend this pub to anyone 5 stars from me !!
Nice local pub,just been taken over by new people who are making a real go of it. Good selection of drinks and outside area. Come and see what it's like.

Dad is found in here upto 3 times a week and at 85 I believe he knows a good pub from a bad one! 'beer very good' as is the food - Sunday roasts are home cooked and excellent value - hosts are very welcoming and 4 legged friends welcome too.....winning combination.
Held a small party in October and it was excellent, the food was spot on and unlike a lot of Buffett food there wasn't anything left and there was a lot available. Cant thank Tracey and Dave enough for such a lovely welcome.

Very cosy pub, restaurant at the back, bar and comfy sofas at the front. Friendly staff and locals. Small beer garden with tables and chairs.
