Went for a high tea. Good selection of food. Coffee was great. The Angel used to be an old pub so there is plenty space. I'll go again.
Fully booked today lunchtime, arrived to find absolutely fantastic service got table within 5 min and manage to sit all together. Freshly cooked food high quality products, delicious and most importantly children friendly. Definitely coming back there
Stayed overnight in one of their double rooms while attending an event at Quay Theatre, which is just around the corner. Great communication, friendly owner and lovely clean rooms. Would highly recommend.

Decided to go to the Angel for a Sunday roast with the other half and loved every moment of it. The staff were incredibly welcoming and polite and made you feel right at home , I can't fault the staff.

I had breakfast here on Monday with my daughter after it had been recommended to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I returned again yesterday for tea and homemade cake which was chocolaty creamy and utterly delicious (just don't think about the calories! I promise it's worth it😉)

Fabulous Christmas Eve lunch. Then wandered passed New Year's day. Went in for coffee and ended up having lunch again. Sausage and mash delicious. Treacle pudding and custard even better. Thank you for welcoming us in. Never walk pass always walk in.
Great restaurant, food very nice. It's more a restaurant than a pub as most areas are tables for eating. Definitely going again. Fantastic little place. Really friendly atmosphere and brilliant food. We were there for three hours scoffing our three courses and quaffing some tasty vino and even though we were last to leave, we were made to feel welcome to the very end!
