What an amazing evening we had at El Bosc. Free parking available at the rear. The welcome from the staff was lovely, the restaurant ambiance was just right, the tables were decorated in a lovely way, and the food was just out of this world! They were flexible whilst ordering I.e. mix and match the amounts for 3/4 people and it wasn’t all brought at once so you didn’t feel rushed. Would highly recommend for that special evening. Even the ladies toilet was really pretty. 5 stars all round from me - thank you to Fiona and her team.
So very happy to welcome a lovely tapas bar as our new neighbours in the village.
A menu of classic petit dishes (biased toward north eastern Spain), made with skill and heart, delivered with a smile.
I’m going to spend dar too much time and money here. And if it comes to a stand off between you and me for the last portion of Crème Catalan, I’ll tell your family you fought and died with honour.
Wow! We had the most wonderful evening. Staff were so attentive, atmosphere great, there was a singer on too, the food was incredible. We will be back very soon !!
This is the second time we have visited El Bosc and it never fails to amaze us. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere is very nice, which suites either a day or night eating experience, I love it! The food is amazing, I highly recommend the lamb cutlets, and chicken bow buns. I will be visiting again and again.
1st time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Staff so lovely and helpful.
First time visiting here. The restaurant and bar area are superbly decorated, windows open on a warm summers day. Food was excellent and all came out in a timely fashion. It’s losing a star because the service could have been a little better - not asking if we wanted anything else/more drinks when bringing food and not taking empty glasses from a small table. We also didn’t get offered desert menu and had to flag someone’s attention to get the bill. Overall very nice and we will be back soon.
What can I say, came here with friends expecting nice food and a good time but that was easily and quickly surpassed by the El Bosc team. The food was some of the best tapas I’ve ever eaten and the sangria was exceptional - exactly like you get in Spain, not too sweet but packed full of flavour. The food was a great mix which all complimented eachother and the taste was Great, every dish we had was 10/10. The rocket salad, truffle arancini, patatas bravas, prawn tacos and olives were stand-outs for us. Cannot wait to return and try some of the other dishes. Great atmosphere too and seating not too cramped. Went on a Wednesday night and it was busy which is testament to this great little find. The espresso martinis looked great when being carried past. We’re from Wilmslow and it’s a nice drive but if weather nice, a lovely walk. Even have the option of getting a drink in The Ship pub next door before or after.
Great food and faultless service, staff couldn’t have been nicer. Will visit again.
13 of us went yesterday we had a very good selection of tapas dishes all excellent. It was very busy you can sit inside or out. Great addition to styal village we will all be going again. Only down side is the billing. It has the tax showing and 10% tiping added after food, when there is a group it can cause problems on the blll which takes edge off a wonderful lunch. But they were very good about it. So will be there again so credit to them. Because they will gain extra business. Well done El Bosc.
Very good authentic tapas. In fact some better than my recent holiday to Tarragona Spain.
Great presentation.
The staff are really friendly and service was quick , always a lively and friendly atmosphere and the food is amazing. The whole menu is great but the prawn tacos are by far the best 10/10 recommended
Excellent food. Service strange with main coming before either starters. The two main courses were 10 minutes apart. But the tastes are lovely and all the food seemed very fresh.
Called in as we were passing by in the late afternoon. Had a friendly greeting and a choice of tables, indoors or out. We picked outside under the shade of the trees. Service was quick and efficient. We decided on the sourdough bread and four other dishes for the two of us to share. The food was delicious and, as in Spain, the dishes gradually appeared as they were cooked. The quantity and quality of the food was just right for us. Unfortunately we decided not to try dessert (a regrettable error of judgement) so I guess we will have to return to remedy that mistake.
The staff were a delight to engage with and answered our queries professionally and in a friendly manner. I would certainly recommend a visit but, from what we were told, booking is probably advisable for evening service.
A delightful little tapas bar. Diolch yn fawr and mucho gracias. Looking forward to a return visit.
Sat outside in the sunshine with delicious food and wine. Felt like we were on holiday. Great service and thankfully no Spanish music! Would definitely recommend.
Lovely little restaurant and bar. Great food . Amelia served us . She is wonderful.
Good quality wine . Highly recommend. They also serve just drinks . So try that if you don't want food. Great for styal village. Paul and Betty
