Really great food. Roast beef was superb. Pleasant service, reasonably priced. Everyone was happy. Dogs were too.

Sat outside and enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast. Fantastic service. Only problem was the smoke that was drifting over. If we go again will sit inside and hope the cigarette smoker's keep there distance.

It's a lovely pub in a nice setting. Good food and drinks. There were plenty of places to sit inside and out. Service was a bit stretched at times. Good location for walking.

Great pub. Good food. Big investment in outdoor facilities. Gets really busy so probably best to book if eating. Weekends and Sunday is a must. Large car park gets full and street parking soon fills up. Front outdoor seating and the rear garden had lots of covid investment. Jorvic's first visit to what feels like a proper country pub. Pint of Weetwood bitter. Good real ale destination

Lovely pub, excellent choice of beers, can't comment on food as did not explore menu this visit. Close to some lovely walks that enable aircraft watching. Wheelchair and mobility aids accessible but scooters will need to be left outside at front.

They do a nice pint of cruzcampo and a steak roll with chips for about £20. It may seem a bit expensive but both were lovely.

Great Food, excellent service and atmosphere! Free parking at the back of the next building, slightly further on the right. If full parking along the road where permitted. During Festive Season best to book in advance, as very popular with locals! Highly recommended! Well within tradition of countryside pub meal 😁

Great venue and food of good quality. Had to wait for desserts and they cane one by one. In the end two of us did not get a dessert. Waitress was lovely, not her fault.

Overall i would say that my experience of the pub is that the food was very nice , tradional pub food with a bit of a twist . The Pub in the inside is very cosy in spots . I am giving 4 stars because one of the members of staff who served my friend and i was rather rude , We were booked in and the guy said "hurry up with the order we are busy" ... the booking told us about the 2 hour window we already know there is an allotted time , the person serving us just generally came off like he mentally clocked out for the weekend and did not want to be there . I would still reccomend visiting for the food and the walk in the woods nearby.

Lovely little pub. Staff were amazing and on the ball with service, friendly and professional. The food was gorgeous. Huge chicken kebab on a skewer with plenty of meat, rice slightly undercooked, so had a bit of a crunch but didn't affect the flavour or taste, with bug chunks of mixed through. Other people were having a bhaji burger and it smelt amazing

Good food, a little bit slow but good service. Chili cauliflower was fine. Fish and chips was a good portion and it was filling. Beer selection was a little bit touch and go.

Nice place to eat very delicious food in a quiet atmosphere. We ordered Fish and chips and a Beef burger. Fish and chips were big meal to eat. Loved the fish and first time tried some vinegar on my potato which was new but delicious. The burger was definitely the best burger I ever had.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was absolutely delicious with great portion sizes, and the prices were very reasonable. It was wonderful to discover that they had a few vegan options available, and the fact that it's dog-friendly with a dedicated dog deli made it even more enjoyable. Five stars well-deserved!
