Great pub/restaurant with a wide range of facilities, with beautiful decor inside and out.
The food is to die for, the girls at the bar were both lovely.
The toilets were absolutely spotless and it smelt great inside the room.

Visited again recently. A popular fave for us! I had a lovely Venison dish which is quite rare to find and hubby had a very nice Chunky Venison Chilli and one of our group had Steak which he said was cooked perfectly. The Dates in Mustard Sauce (starter) were very nice and lovely desserts. Staff
Went here for dinner on a weekend away with friends. Arrived about 4pm and had a wait until 5:30 for food so had some drinks and played some card games in the bar, we were then moved through to the restaurant where we had three absolutely delicious courses; the portions were huge and everything was
Amazing place. The food was great but more importantly the staff were absolutely brilliant - great customer service, extremely friendly and were amazing with all my allergies. I would highly recommend this place and if I am ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
Had Sunday lunch here today, the staff were incredibly accommodating right from initial enquiry at booking and on the day! Absolutely superb in every respect, will definitely be going back and thoroughly recommend!!..
Food selection was excellent znd the food itself was very tasty and good size portion. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. Also a lovely outside seating area for the sunny evenings

Lovely serving staff and a great place to meet up with friends/family. Dog and child friendly and very clean. We had a really nice big family meal here. Finally today I had a decent roast, last few pubs have been lacking effort or quality, my roast today was perfect, massive Yorkshire wins lots of brownie points, meat was well cooked and tender, veg served were of a good variety and cooked very well with nice glazing on the parsnips and carrots. Lovely village pub. Come here often when visiting my in laws. Amazing food. Not expensive and great quality. Great beers on tap and super friendly staff. Great outside seating for the summer and a cozy fire for the winter.

We choose pub but took beautiful homemade sandwiches back to family staying in the hotel
They live in Yeovil and said the sandwiches were so good they would return for the food

I telephoned before hand, and spoke to a friendly member of staff, who assured me they cater for loads of dietary needs.

We walked into this pub on the Sunday of August Bank Holiday weekend they were very busy but we asked if they had any spare tables and room for 4 more customers for dinner. We were very late for dinner but the land lady told us they could accommodate us providing we didn't mind waiting for our meals
Apart from a slight hiccup. Excellent, steak and ale pie 😋🥧 yummy.
