A wonderful little oasis in Studley! We have only been once so far but will definitely be returning. The service was friendly and helpful and the prices very reasonable. They had a great selection of ales and some decent choices for the non ale drinkers too. The atmosphere in there was really cosy and welcoming, and we were soon chatting away with the staff and other patrons too. It was spotlessly clean in the bar area and the toilet areas. There was a TV on with sports in the bar but the sound was at a pleasant level so not the primary focus in the place which was great. To add I marked the "food" field at 5 stars although I was referring to the drinks as there wasn't an option for that, they don't do food.

I was wondering why this scruffy place have such a high rating. But it's well deserved, if you have time to visit just 1 place in the area and you like good local ales search no more!

Great set up and even better ales and ciders. May lack the charm of a traditional pub, buy it more than makes up for that one very other way possible.

If you like real ale in a welcoming relaxed atmosphere then this place will suit you. There is no food (except excellent cheese and onion cobs and pork pies) - this is the place to come for a beer with a paper and enjoy

Great micro pub and brewery tap. Superb ales and quirky ciders with a couple of more conventional choices. One of my favourite pubs since moving to the area 🍻

Lovely micropub with a good range of their own beers, brewed just over the road. Also propper cider and great cheese & onion rolls and pork pies.

This is an outlet for the interesting Weatheroak ales. They are served by handpull along with a guest beer and when I visited were in excellent condition. As such I highly recommend this friendly ale house to those seeking quality real ale.
