A great pub overlooking Bournemouth. We sat and watched the airshow from here and it was fantastic. Food and drinks were good. Only reason I didn’t give full score for service was that I had to request butter to go with bread in my ploughman’s lunch. Well worth a visit
Great little pub, good choice of menu and reasonable price considering nothing else around except on the beach. The staff was really nice. And interacted with customers very well. The food was hot and very tasty and plenty of meat in the pie which I had ordered. They had extended outside since the l
Food was delicious however, the portion size was a little small for the price paid.
In regards to the service, the barmaid that served us was miserable, what happened to 'service with a smile? The staff that served the food were excellent.
Would recommend and go again as the good was excellent.
Beautiful views in the garden and lovely atmosphere in the pub itself - everything a summer holiday pub should be.
The menu changes daily, so there is always something new and delicious, even for the picky eaters.
Just be aware that this variety does mean there are no table or specific kid's menus
I've been coming to studland bay for the last 5 years and I've only seen this place get better and better. Staff are always welcoming and hard working. Food is amazing and incredible valve for money. Loads of drinks to choose from, there's something for everyone. If you're lucky enough to catch them
Lovely location with cheerful staff and reasonable beer selection. We didn't order food so can't comment although other visitors deemed to be enjoying their meals. As it was a (rare for 2023) lovely summers day we sat in the beer garden opposite and enjoyed the view. One to add to the list.
The nice old pub in the great place. You will really enjoy by meals, drinks, view and atmosphere after wonderful walk from Swanage via Old Harry Rocks track.
Friendly staff, great location, food very mediocre.
The fish & chips was on par with a Wetherspoons offering; nice enough but not £18 nice. The fish batter just tasted of flour and the chips had clearly had a second round in the fryer. We'll be back but only because of the location
Stunning location right next to South Beach car park and excellent place to stop after a long circular walk on the coastal path. The toilet block is 120m away down the road. Very dog friendly. We sat outside overlooking the sea. Several vegan options, I had the risotto and was pleasantly surprised a
Wet day so not too busy. Asked to share meals as we didn't want a large lunch. No problem with that, the warm goats cheese salad was plenty for two and was the best I've had. Great hospitality. Will definitely go again.
Thank you.
The walk to the pub was lovely and was just a 5 minute walk from middle beach. The staff on arrival were very sweet and one fella working there possibly the manager/owner had some jokes.
They have Purbeck brewery next door making some amazing brew.
I had the ham, egg and chips which was exactly th
