Lovely place for a birthday meal in a wonderful setting! Food was great and had a good variety available. Wine was very good also and staff very tentative & friendly. Would definitely recommend!

With views to die for this must be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were so friendly and caring, it felt very homely. The food was fantastic and locally sourced.

I have just returned home after a weekend break with girlfriends and feel like I have had a week's holiday. What a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing, relaxed and friendly yet attentive and very professional. The vibe was so welcoming and calm yet had a hum of happy and contented customers and staff. The room couldn't have been better equipped or more beautifully styled and the location is breathtaking. This is my new favourite place.

We decided to take a last minute midweek break and a lucky enough to find a room at the pig a Fisherman's Hut halfway between the coastal path and the hotel was the only option and it was such an adventure the sweet little Hut was prepared with complete love and we had everything that we needed one with a bath in it and another Hut with a bed and a wood burning stove. The food was absolutely exquisite the breakfasts the piggy bits sitting by the fire the whole experience was just what we needed. It was so good we stayed an extra night as they had a last minute cancellation and we snapped it up. I hear this hotel is hard to book and we tried to book us and not a second trip and couldn't get anything now until March proof indeed that they know what they're doing highly recommended. Cheap it ain't but excellent quality and attention to detail it is worth every penny .

What an amazing place inside and out. The food was fantastic and service really great. Tried all 8 starter bits, and lamb for my main....the best I've ever tasted and the shallots on the side were soooo sweet. Would love to visit again but living in N Ireland makes this a little difficult. Will definitely make a point of returning at some stage!!! Loved it

Hello this is to the staff and the manager who looked after us during our stay. We left today with bottle of red in hand and a very warm feeling indeed. I love this place. Everything about it is perfect. Except that they add 12% service charge to the bill, which is not how I like to do things. They should pay their staff properly and then good service be rewarded as and when. Also, then you hope tips go directly to the staff and not in the general hotel coffers.

Have passed this many times, so this time on our visit to Swanage, booked the winter lunch offer. Food, service and staff and welcome on arrival were all great. The cosiness of the bar and lounge, with the logs fires very nice. Views are the best and parking very easy. One small disappointment- a chocolate or truffle with our coffee would have been the icing on the cake!
