Had a really lovely Sunday roast in this beautiful Country Pub with a choice of 3 meats. I can't recommend this pub enough for the food, staff, ambience, and a special mention to Gary the Landlord. What a lovely man, he was so welcoming and attentive to us and everyone that walked through the door. Making sure we were all comfortable and happy with our meal ect. He even showed care for our dog, and gave him a lovely big chew. We'll definitely be going back very soon.

A very pleasant experience, excellent service from beginning to end,wonderful food, great menu choices reasonably priced as well!! It's the first time we, as a family, had been here and will come again . Thank you all concerned.

Delightful country pub - great beers, nice ambiance, and a snug in which to eat your Sunday roast! We had a choice of 3 meats, with fresh veg, Yorkshire pud, roast potatoes and honey parsnips, all smothered in proper meaty gravy!! The lamb was superb, see photo attached. Delicious! The staff there all deserve an honourable mention for their great service. We shall return!

Traditional country pub, great atmosphere and very friendly staff and landlord. Excellent food especially the Sunday lunch which is great value for money. Great selection of ales & other tipples🍺🥃🍷

Lovely pub. Booked last minute on a Sunday. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Really friendly staff, especially landlord / owner ? Roast dinner was superb & plentiful. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Just turned up for evening meal as staying in the area. Had a lovely warm welcome and was made to feel comfortable as a single female traveler. The food was superb. Would recommend to anyone!

Had roasts for 8 people (1 a burger meal) and 5 kids meals! All the food was delicious, great portions and lovely atmosphere! All staff were so helpful, friendly and willing to accommodate even checking in on us! Definitely recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome. Definitely will be coming back here more often.

Visited this pub for the first time tonight as my mate was doing a gig there.. wow, what a lovely place! Very warm and welcoming, very friendly staff, great food and drink.. Amazing how i have lived so close but never knew the place was there? Loved this pub and will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night out 👍

Not eaten there but had a couple of beers,sat out the front and watched the world go by,seemed friendly enough.

The best Sunday lunch around. Catherine the chef is incredible. All the staff are warm and friendly. Highly recommend

Lovely village pub for a drink in the afternoon sun!

A lovely, well kept and friendly village pub. Best ploughman's I've had in a long time. Was cycling and it was a hot day -- bar staff were kind and provided iced tap water to replenish my hydration bag. Ate in the shade of the large gazebo in front of the pub. Will definitely be back.

Great old English pub excellence good and staff

Very very friendly. Didn't eat, but drink prices are as cheap as I have experienced this year. Gary is a gem.

Lovely relaxing village pub. We had Sunday lunch for the first time there and it was amazing definitely will be eating again there .also the pub away looks so beautiful with all the flowers.

Fantastic pub, great food, very large helpings, friendly and polite staff and landlord, good beer, allows dogs in bar, cushions on the seats! Clean....go, you won't be sorry...

Had another great meal here, lovely food, lovely people and especially enjoyed tonights "grill night" £14 for 2 courses great value!

Great pub with good beers, good food and an interesting decor inside. Staff are polite and attentive and I was served the biggest cod and chips with a smile.
