Great Sunday roast with a decent service, especially given how busy the pub was. Catered pretty well for vegetarians, including the roast which was silly tasty. Stopped on the off chance after a beach walk with dog. Very clean pub. Great service from the young lady behind the bar and the silver haired lady who looked after us. Food was very nice too. Highly recommend. AA+ 😊

Popped in for a roast with the in laws. Really good. Place was busy, but service was quick and very friendly.
Popped in on the off chance of a table, and were very pleasantly surprised! A lovely quiet table was available and the food and service were great. I can definitely recommend the liver and bacon.

The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. And parking is good. Highly recommend anyone thinking of going there, its great.
Great atmosphere and with really good service apart from. Having to get your own drinks from the bar even when dining in. But, nevertheless, we gave enjoyed our visits there.
Nachos to share for a starter was innovative, interesting and tasty. My main was rather overcooked but I would expect better on my return !

Some pubs seem to make liver gritty but not here.

Good value honest food, well kept ale, friendly staff, tables spaced apart, plenty of hand sanitizer, screens so you can sit at the bar, big garden and no time limits! These are some of the reasons for a visit to this old fashioned pub. Thanks for a lovely meal!
Went here for a 90th birthday celebration, and was pleasantly suprised, great food, great service and lovely atmosphere
Old skool pub with fantastic friendly service. We had a Sunday Roast, absolutely delicious and great value.
Booked in for Sunday lunch today with my husband and adult son. What a lovely place. Clean,comfortable and welcoming. The well lacquered table gleamed in the light conservatory area. Our table was tucked out of the way which normally I wouldn’t like ( cos I’m a nosey people watcher!)but it looked on
