Excellent coffee shop/tea room/restaurant/bookshop/vintage bits/all of the above wee place. Stopped to get veg at the shop next door and thought we would nip in for coffee. Ended up with a stack of pancakes (gorgeous) and a full brekky (fantastic). Chatty owner, quirky set-up and delicious food. A must-do for locals and tourists alike. We will be back!

This place is an absolutely fantastic spot! I couldn't recommend it enough for anyone visiting Skye. Unassuming from the outside, but the best food and coffee I had on the island and the staff are as friendly as you will find. I didn't want to leave and I will be back!

I occasionally pop in on a Saturday for a good cup of coffee, a delicious home-made cake or two and a browse through the most excellent second-hand bookshelves - an eclectic delight in themselves. But last week I had a friend staying from London and we went Bog Myrtling for breakfast. I had the Full Monte - and it was the best breakfast I've ever had. Utterly fab. Home-made baked beans, perfect eggs, sourdough toast (I think?), sweet tomatoes etc. Every little detail was perfect, down to the edible flower heads garnish.... What a gem.

A wonderful place - already looking forward to another visit here. Lovely setting, coffee and food and the friendliest people imaginable. We went along for the Gingerbread Storytime - a great idea for little ones - lots of fun, very well organised and thought out and a really comfy and enjoyable place for parents to relax too. I want a better look at the books and will be back with helpers to watch the little one :)

Had read about Bog Myrtle, and was lucky enough to visit last week. We had the best coffees we’d had on the island, and a delicious open toasted sandwich and cake. The people were so friendly, and it is a book lovers paradise. Great atmosphere. Thankyou

Jumped in to Bog Myrtle today on the chance they might sell food on the way back to the chalet. I ordered the Scottish cheddar, tomato & chilli quiche & my partner got the pancake stack. Both were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back next time we visit skye

Popped into Bog Myrtle for brunch, after visiting the Fairy Pools yesterday. I had the pancake stack and my husband had eggs on toast, washed down with coffee and tea. Absolutely delicious! Lovely owners too, very friendly. Will definitely go back, next time we visit.

Wanted a cafe with the works - Great coffee and food with a view. Bog Myrtle is that and so much more! Mania was a bright ray of sunshine and it was so lovely to get to know their story and how the place came to be. All destined, I tell ya. The food was excellent, with my partner raving about the sourdough for her sandwich and the coffee was bright and fruity! We were blessed with window seats on a lovely day and the moment it hit lunch, the crowds were endless, a testament to the popularity of the place. Glad we had the chance to experience it and won't forget the charm of its people and the scent of its namesake - something that Mania shared with us.

The most amazing cafe we visited while in whole Scotland. The interior is stunning, Staff is so kind, friendly and warm you immediately feel at home and genuinely welcome. It would be a place to visit even if the food was not great. But it is simply delicious! We had waffles with butter, maple syrup, fried egg and bacon and it was heavenly. I could eat 4 portions! The coffee is strong and beautifully made. We wish we could spend all day there browsing through the books, old sewing patterns and other cute design features but we had to head to the fairy pools and the ferry.

Lovely decor, ambience and a very nice selection of coffees, teas, cakes and other food on the first floor of an unassuming building in Struan. Very pleasant views over the loch, and great service. Perfect place for a stop on the west of Skye.

We've been in Scotland two weeks and isle of Skye for three days. This was my second favorite meal in Scotland (I'm very partial to Indian so it's not really fair to say "second favorite" but still...) And my favorite in the isle of Skye... Service was great, food was not tourist trap fluff. Would love to come back here.

A lovely place with a very cool and relaxing vibe. The food is delicious and if you are lucky enough to get a clear sky when you come, the view is stunning! I really hope I can come back at some point!

Our favourite cafe that we visited on Skye! So cosy and welcoming, the large windows offering beautiful views, and being surrounded by velvety vintage furniture and old editions of books felt like sitting in a grandma’s living room (I mean this in the best way). Also, the Reuben sandwiches were delicious, the coffee great, and the staff unbelievably nice! Love love love.

beautifully styled cafe, where you can buy second hand books and enjoy your breakfast with coffee. waffles were a bit dry for my taste, but coffee was very very nice 😊 👍🏻

A serendipitous find, From Edinburgh to the tip of Skye, you will not find a friendlier cafe to enjoy amazing coffee and delicious breakfast or lunch. We were greeted by Harriet, probably the most genuinely gracious person we’ve met in the UK. She helped us twice and each time was full of sunshine. The cafe is charming, over looking a beautiful cascade of mountains and cliffs. The food is so fresh and well made, we’ve had the chicken curry, waffle and eggs and a few of their extremely well made and tasty baked treats. Absolutely a must if you are staying or driving through Dunvegan.
