What a pub should be. The cask ale is excellent, well kept and varied. People are friendly and the music nights are great. Feels very cosmopolitan but also like a proper pub, a great mix. Id love to see some more varied keg options (likes of Lost and Grounded would be amazing) to mirror the cask line up.
This is a special and awesome pub. Lottie is a ledge (who happens to be from near where I'm from). Amazing live music when I visited and a great AF beer selection.
Had a really lovely surprise party at the Prince Albert with all my friends and family (I had no idea). Great quirky pub with cozy indoor and covered outdoor spaces. Wonderful Pizzas (could well be the best in Stroud), Thanks to the great Landlady Lotte for helping to organise (with my wife) and the friendly locals who joined in. Looking forward for coming again to try the burgers, live music and good selection of drinks!
Brilliant. Great selection of beer, tasty food, bright fun atmosphere and a great space. Would definitely come back regularly if I lived closer.

Wonderful pub. Cosy and eclectic. Local CAMRA society Best Pub for the last 3 years out of 4. Great music bookings and even good options for drinks for designated drivers!
Great pub, nice and lovely staff, very welcoming and family friendly.
Amazing local pub. Friendly bartenders as well as patrons. We were in town during their annual Beer Fest and it provided a wide variety of real ales, ciders, and perries to go along with an eclectic bunch of live bands and a couple of local food vendors.
Great pub, family friendly and with gigs too. Good beer and decent gardens too, spot on.
Warm, friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of standard and local drinks. And of course their range of freshly baked pizzas - try the 'nice and spicy' - it might just blow your socks off.... Pop along (take your dog if you like) and enjoy yourself... Recommended for sure
We had a wonderful evening of tasty pizza and delicious beer and wine in the new garden at the Albert. They've done a fantastic job of it over lockdown, and lovely to see the pub open again with its characteristic wit and friendliness by the bucket load.
