Actually, We didn’t expect from a restaurant in small town to be one of the best restaurant in UK.
The food was exceptional 🤩 and I’d love to come back to taste this again.

I had popadoms with sauces as appetiser to begin with then followed by chicken tika. Then for Main I had tandoori chicken. Was served on a hot black dish which I took the food from onto my black to eat. The food was tasty, was very nice. Was only £21 for meal which seemed good value. Only small criticism or area to improve is for main when I had tandoori chicken it was served on the bone. And I had to faf around cutting it off the bone. Would have been better if they cook on the bone and then take off the bone to serve up. But other than thst small annoyance was quite pleased with it all. Will be back again to try something else.
Considering the restaurant was nearly fully booked, constant stream of people coming in to collect orders for takeaway, being extremely short staffed (two waiters for the whole restaurant and down a delivery driver) we were served with polite, professional and courteous staff. Our food was delicious and when we couldn't finish, it was packed up nicely to take home. Many many thanks to Ayman who was an absolute pleasure to meet and witness thrive in his role despite obviously having to work at a demanding pace.

Best Indian take away in the Stroud area and also very reasonably priced compared to others. Have ordered many times and eaten in the restaurant, over the past 20 years. Has always been great.
10/10 A++ The very best Indian restaurant. I have had many takeaways from the Spice Lounge. Every time, the food and service are FANTASTIC. Thank you to Ali for looking after us. Make sure you order some red sauce with onion for your poppadoms....its amazing. Highly Recommend 🙏.
First visit last night (17/10)-went in on the off chance before the cinema, having never been before, and we were delighted we did. Lovely food, nice wine and fast friendly service-can’t wait to visit again
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. On a Wednesday their set menu of 4 courses was only £13.95 which was great value for the quality of the food.
Inside it was a bit quiet but the staff were very attentive and the restaurant itself had a nice interior. Food quality was fantastic with every dish tasting amazing!
Serious curry. Ayman is a top server, cannot fault the customer service. If you are in the area definitely try this curry house, such a great experience.
Ayman and the crew at Spice Lounge are a genuine bunch of caring individuals, always looking to elevate your evening in whichever way they can. After putting our order together, a combination of Ayman’s suggestions and choices of our own, we tucked in to a medley of delights and enjoyed each others company alongside some ice cold Cobras. Ayman’s tails of old rounded off a hearty feast… Food for body and mind. Would recommend, as I have done so before.
