Apart from the gravy being a tad runny for my liking the food was fantastic. Service was great too, however would have preferred one server as opposed to several. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Great out of the way pub! Have used this pub for drinks and meals on the way home on many occasions. Always had a nice time here and its still got a great country atmosphere. Good place for a beer and to keep the good memories we have had going there in the past too. Would definitely recommend this pub for drinks and food.

A very cozy little place which gives you a nice welcoming feeling. You feel like you stepped home and not in a restaurant. Food is amazing, quite a variety of drinks also, the only downside, the food is quite pricey in comparison to others that you can find in a 10 mile radius. But you need to try it at least once as definitely worth it. 🙂

We were disappointed not to be able to take our dog into the restaurant area where we have taken her before. Additionally there was already a dog in this area. Ours was banished to the boot of the car. The 7 stars says it is dog friendly. It would appear only partially so. We could have ate in the pub area but our friends were already ensconced on a nice table by a window in the restaurant area.

This pub was much bigger than I expected. Big car park to match. Greeting was well organised and efficient. Staff very helpful. Nice and airy inside. Food arrived in good time and portions were very adequate. Prices were reasonable. I had the ploughman’s lunch which was excellent.

Nice old style pub with plenty of space outside if the weather permits of course! Went for lunch and although there wasn't a lot on offer on the lunch menu (what's happened to the ploughman's!) the food was hot, tasty and well presented. Well done to the kitchen team thank you for a lovely lunch, keep up the good work.

Decent menu, tasty food, good beers, lovely location. Service was a bit absent on occasions - could have done with popping back to our table, would have made more money out of our group, especially on such a quiet night.

Attentive staff deal well with busy Saturday evening. Good menu for most tastes with some more than usual fish dishes and a specials board. Cooked well and tasty if a little plain IMO. Fair prices and traditional decor and furnishings inside. Plenty of garden space. Children's play area was outside. Big venue able to cope with groups and party bookings.

I went here for a family meal on a beautiful sunny day and was impressed with not only the quality of the food but the friendly service as well. There were two vegans one vegetarian and two meat eaters in our party and everyone found something on the menu that they liked. I had a starter of prawn and avocado cocktail which was delicious and light and we also had a bread board to share. The main courses were enjoyed by everyone and the service was friendly and prompt. We didn't have to wait too long for the food and overall a completely enjoyable experience one I hope that won't be long before I repeat.

A very nice pub. We went for Sunday dinner and really enjoyed the visit. The staff were all really friendly. The decor or the pub is very warm and homely. The walls have pictures and sayings all over them. It's a really beautiful place. There is free parking outdoor seating a children's play area lots of choice on the menu. Including unlimited Yorkshire and gravy with your roast. Vegetarian option was also nice. A nut and parsnip option. Very tasty. Other things that I found nice and different was free apples when you came in and the amount of vegetables that we got with the meal was good. We usually order more at other places. Overall very pleased and will visit in the future. Also recommended for business meetings, friendship groups and cycling routes

Beautiful pub in the middle of the beautiful countryside. Great food and service. Lots of choice for starters, mains and desserts. Great drinks too. A bit pricey but it's worth it for how pretty it is and a nice treat out.

Beautiful setting with impeccable service and great tasting food. The staff was very accomodating for food allergies and their non-alcoholic gin choices were delicious. We’re just passing by for two days but might have to come back for more tomorrow :)

Wonderful food, beautiful environment and wonderful staff. Had the best time here for NYE. If you're in the area it's certainly worth a visit.

Popular local pub that does everything well. Nice location on the A272 with outdoor area and traditional but contemporary interior. Large bar and restaurant areas but always seems to be full and you should expect problems if you do not book beforehand. Good menu at average prices and the food was tasty and generous portions. Friendly staff despite being busy. Happily recommend and we will return 👍
