Clean and tidy when we visited. Service with a smile. Lots of seasonal options available. I think they had new staff, so perhaps not such speedy service, but still great coffee.
I recently visited a Costa Coffee and was in for a treat. Not the coffee, mind you. The barista was having a dance-off with the man moonlighting outside. It was a spectacle, I tell you. Every time a customer walked in, the barista would pause, take their order and then continue his moonlit jig. I was half-tempted to join in, but the coffee wasn't worth the embarrassment.
In all seriousness, the coffee was decent, but the barista's dance moves were definitely the highlight of my visit. Who knows, maybe he'll be the next big dance sensation. All I know is, I'll be back to see him dance in the moonlight once more.
Good tasting coffee. Some but limited food choices for vegan (good enough for a coffee- the cookie is nice). Choice of milks is good. 25p off now for your own cup- much appreciated. Almost always seating even when busy. Can be big queues but well managed by staff- its just a busy place. Kept up together as well as the next place cleaning wise. Staff are very friendly.
Very good coffee! Fantastic location for a barista, in the almost ancient town of Stroud. The buildings around Costa are amazing too with the shambles market, the old fire station, town hall and court house right next door and some of the original town houses which are about 400 years old! It's an amazing place to stop for a coffee. I definitely recommend a visit if you've never been, just to see the beauty and history of the old town buildings.
Found a table easily enough, food and coffee was good but ordering service was a bit chaotic and abruptness between staff
Central, usual Costa, still, no organic fair trade, fair price coffee yet!! Wake up Costa!

Almost always a pleasant experience when visiting Costa in the high street, staff are friendly and headed by a very professional manager, coffee orders are usually quick turn around and the actual interior has a nice modern and contemporary finish.

While in queue i enjoyed watching the interactions between Barista Ash and customer in front of myself. Ash knew what this customers preference up to an including the hazlenut addition to the mans drink.. he then served me up to and including try to upsale.. and as much as i like you bacon baps and cakes... i had previously already had my breakfast... Your assistant Manager who was coffee service also interacted well with customers.. will definitely use this Costa again 😊
