I've been eating here for 6 + years. Always very fast service accompanied by very nice smiles. Breakfast is consistent and good quality. Burger and chips is pretty decent and substantial, no undersized portions here. It is a pleasure eating here!

Great pleasant staff who are well mannered and evidently great at what they do. I visit this place quite often and I’m always indecisive on what to pick due to their vast selection in their menu. I would definitely recommend their English breakfast which is fairly priced in comparison to the portion

Visited on a quiet Sunday. Easily found a seat and was greeted by friendly staff. This cafe is like taking part in ‘Man v’s Food’ portions are huge and very good value !!!! Ordered a big breakfast and a Spanish omelette! Delicious

A lovely meal in a good atmosphere. I could understand why this cafe was so busy. Oh, and my day was complete when Bristol Rovers beat Forest Green Rovers 3-1!

The Max lives up to its reputation for great food at good prices. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Meal was cooked and served quickly and very hot together with the finest coffee I have had in a long time. Can honestly recommend to anyone needing to fill that gap.

we usually pop in for a coffee while waiting to catch a train. It is very clean, the staff are friendly, the coffee is great. When we look around at the quantity of food served for the prices charged it appears to be great value for money. High recommended.

Visited this cafe with the walking group yesterday for first time in 3 years , after a very warm days walk around Stroud needed drinks and food and can highly recommend this cafe , all the group were happy with their orders and the service ,I had the home made cottage pie with veg and gravy pl

Had a takeaway tonight. Cod and chips and salad, Chicken curry rice and chips. Home delivery early great service. Food excellent. Really enjoyed it. Can't fault the food will be ordering again. Lovely food thank you
