I like this pub as a local. It's friendly and has a variety of spaces for different experiences as a visitor (the lounge is a lovely space but rarely used). Downsides are a lack of ale selection (or sometimes no ales) and limited outdoor space. It would be improved immensely by opening the rear gard

It was a small and cozy pub! Staff was friendly. Had sunday roast for 2 people and drinks costing us £25. Turkey and beef were available. Slightly prefered turkey. The food was right amount for us and price was reasonable. Dog was allowed in a bar area or outside but not in a restaurant. There is a
Had a lovely meal at The Prince Of Wales last night. We were a table of four guests, we had a great service and lovely food. The pub has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent. The price of a pink of doom bar £3.00 which my hubby thought was great. My sister and I shared Prosecco at
Warm welcome, comfortable table in quiet corner. Drinks came promptly, then suitable pause while our food was freshly cooked. We had one portion of whitebait, quite enough for two and very tasty. Then steak pie/scampi - tasty and generous portions. All good - we will be back.
We love our Sunday Roasts here but this week came for Eat Out to Help Out. I went big and had the mixed grill. Absolutely superb. My partner had the Bacon, Cheese Burger and she was stuffed too. So much food. Booked in for next week now as well.
Have just had a fantastic meal at the Prince of Wales. Food was lovely and the service was excellent. The hard work and effort the new owners have put in to update and tidy it is commendable. I would definitely recommend a visit. We will certainly be returning.
Always been my "local" going back more regularly now. New owners doing a cracking job. Made to feel welcome, decent pub grub, comfy restaurant area and nice enclosed garden.
Lovely little place after the ownership changed, now serves food which tastes good too, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have BT sport so they show football live, went to watch the Liverpool vs Chelsea super cup game YNWA lovely to see the local pub showing the football. Will definit

Solid little family run pub with good value food. The takeaways during lockdown are really great for a good price. Very friendly staff.
Excellent friendly service and got to try both the garden feast pizza and the smoked beans chilli; quite good and pints on little is lovely
