Took a random punt on a Saturday evening meal while in town and couldn't be happier with the service, food or drinks. Very friendly welcome and shown straight to our pre booked table. They asked if we'd been before, which we hadn't, and explained their traffic light system (awesome by the way) and how to choose stuff from the menu and recommendations on amount. All spot on. Ended up having cocktails, mains and desserts. Place is really quirky and had an excellent atmosphere. Will 100% return when next around. Thank you!

Lovely setting with friendly staff, a good variety of great tasting South American dishes. Recommend the Taco's 🌮 especially the Fish of Prawn option. And IMO the best tasting coffee ☕️ in town Booking a table is advisable 👍🏻

Total anniversary treat. Considering the amount of cocktails we had it was excellent value for money! Nearly went for the "taco Tuesday" option but there were too many other tapas style options that we didn't want to miss out on and nothing disappointed. Absolutely delicious, we'll be back!

My partner and I stumbled across this restaurant this evening, and oh my gosh the food was flipping amazing! We both loved it so much. The staff were so friendly and the owners really know what they're doing. Cocktails were amazing too.. I literally can't say a bad word about it. Thank you :)

Nice food, portion size ok but rather on a smaller side, nice cocktails, pleasant atmosphere. Staff was nice however I haven't felt we were "taken care off" so would be nice to be more looked after, even checking on extra drinks or food 👍

After years of crying at the lack of good Latin American food in the Wilts & Glos area, I stumbled upon Galgos almost by mistake. I immediately yelled at my Stroud-based friends for not telling me that they had a freaking Venezuelan restaurant in their town! And then procedeed to order ALL THE FOOD (It was definitely too much food and I had to take some home but it was SO worth it) Things you SHOULD try: The tequeños. Ask any Venezuelan and they'll tell you this is what we all miss the most. These are our mini sausage rolls, our mini pork pies... The finger food we stuff ourselves with at parties. Man, I love these things. The patacons, because life is better with fried plantains. Prefereably with cheese or roasted pork, or both. A mix of Carne Mechada/Black Beans/Rice & Tajadas. Because it's our national dish and super yummy. Bring your friends because it's a lot of food. Order a cocktail or two because they're awesome (also the mocktails!) Have a chat with Oriana who's as lovely as the place she owns. Enjoy the decor and the music. If you are not full after all the food, order a Tres Leches cake. If you are full, order it anyway. Take it home and enjoy it later with a brew, while thinking of when you can go back to eat more food.

Great venue. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the price of the food seemed to be quite expensive for the size of the portions. I think you could better.
