Had an absolutely fantastic meal at Brich. The food was top notch, not a huge menu but a good few options for starters, main and desert that includes fish, meat and vegetarian (I have uploaded a pic of the menue for our visit, I'm sure it changes regularly). Three or four bottles each of red and white wine starting around £18 bottle - had a lovely malbec this time. They also have a few nice local beers and a some lovely cocktails. Service is friendly and efficient, not overly attentive but they make sure you are happy. Highly recommended!

Hot chocolates are absolutely delicious! As a café in the day its nice and relaxing, but there aren't many options for food. If you're looking for a good quality café just for coffee, tea etc. Then I would recommend. There are choices of brownie or orange cake, but no sandwiches or other things. Feels a little limited, but service is prompt

Birch catered our wedding in August and we could not be happier with how absolutely amazing they were! The food was incredible!! We're foodies so have high expectations and Birch just blew us away. Guests have told us since the event that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. The team was lovely, professional, and efficient, a great experience overall and we highly recommend them!

Very pleasant restaurant. In a spacious pleasant space, the food was excellent, with all of my party very content. The service was first rate, smooth and proffessional. The wine list was short, but gave a well selected choice at a reasonable cost. Closing at 21.30 was the only drawback, which for me was unusually early. Recommended.

This is a lovely, dog friendly place, right in the middle of the farmers market. Great location, wonderful staff, nice cakes, although the selection is a bit limited, such a shame it's only open Fridays and Saturdays.

Every time I come to Dinner At Six the food is perfect, the service is fab, and the atmosphere is lovely. The interior is stylish, the presentation of the food is beautiful, and the food itself is to die for. I'm also gluten intolerant and the menu is always altered for me by the chef so that I can eat most of the dishes. Dinner At Six is my favourite restaurant by far.

WOW!!! I have to eat dairy and wheat and oat free. No problem at home, married to an ex chef. Different story when I go out. I nearly gve up going out. I was fed up eating sub standard uninteresting food that made me ill! Anyway, went to Dinner at Six on Saturday for lunch. Initially very happy because when we booked we were asked if we had any dietary requirements. YES. So I was a bit disappointed to see what was on offer. 2 soups, steak and chips and not much else. I asked if there was anything I could have off the Dinner menu and settled on Belly Pork with braised red cabbage, spinach and the MOST amazing sweet potato fries I have ever had. It was epic. the service was sweet if a bit amateurish, think it was our waiter's first day. The rest of our party really enjoyed their food too. Then pudding. I hardly ever can have a pudding. But there was a gluten and dairy free delicious Tunisian orange polenta cake with raspberry sorbet, meringue and fruits. To die for! So i will be going back ASAP. Thank you very much. i wasnt ill either!

So wanted this to be a wonderful experience. Had heard great things from friends as customers & staff. Admittedly the food is wonderful, short menu that offers at least 1 vegetarian, 1 fish & at least 2 meat options; VERY tasty, beautifully presented;
but a restaurant cannot rely on just food when everything else lets it down! We had extremely slow inattentive service, cold restaurant,( I sat wearing my scarf, other diners chose to put coats back on!), close/small tables.
We were seated at what seemed the worst table; one side was next to the waiter runway to the kitchen & surrounded by closely neighbouring tables that we constantly needed to scooch in for.
The table was narrow, admittedly it had generous depth for a sharing bowl, drinks & condiments but little room for a side plate a cuttlery.
Ladies/disabled toilets are not nice;lady bin overflowing. What seems to be a converted cupboard that's unfinished.
Very disappointed, would only recommend to diners of 4 or more who benefit from a large table with plenty of surrounding space whose female guests won't need the toilet but will need wear an extra jumper!!

Had dinner this evening with a friend at Dinner at Six and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was lovely. I had the battered scallops with chorizo and the roasted cod with mussel chowder both wholesome and tasty. It was also great to experience locally brewed beers at a sensible price.
We will definitely come again.

Having visited a few local restaurants recently and been disappointed either by the food or service , I was really looking forward to trying dinner six for the first time - I was not disappointed, the food was superb and the service was fab, attentive but not over the top. Portions are not large but because the food is so tasty u feel totally satisfied and I couldn't manage the desert . Definitely will be returning
