We visit Stroud and area every year and always visit this cafe a couple of times. The food is good honest traditional food at very reasonable prices. This trip we had lunch of ham, egg and chips (other half enjoyed that) and I had sausage, mash, peas and gravy of which there was plenty. I'm very fussy about sausages but they were delicious and made locally. This morning we had bacon and mushroom sandwiches for breakfast and they were delicious. Staff are friendly and polite. What's not to like?

Lovely fresh bread and rolls great on the day but needs to be frozen to keep the freshness. Natural bread has always been this way not like supermarket pap, not worth eating.

Beautiful beautiful bread. Always best to get there early because everyone else thinks the same and they can run out on busy days. You can order ahead and they do deliveries, and homemade frozen food. Service is always friendly and efficient and they take great pride in their breads and cakes -rightly so!!

I have been shopping at this bakers for 60 years. It is by far the best bakers locally and probably one of the very best nationally! Even during the last year of lockdowns I have been for a fortnightly order for me and a neighbour so we can freeze it and continue to have our Walkers bread fix!!

Nice family bakery in threadneedle st. Up above the bakery is a smashing cafe' that provides good, homely food. An escape from all the Costa-esk brigade.

I occasionally buy a cake or doughnut from this bakery when I'm in Stroud, the prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good.
