Clothiers Arms - Stroud - Photo album

Nice English pub. Extremely friendly staff. Very nice meals. In fact, the full English breakfast would have to be the best I've had in my 3 weeks visiting England. The room was a tad noisy early on, but that's to be expected when you're staying overnight at a pub. There's plenty of parking spaces to
My husband and I spent the night at the closest end room, a little small, but adequate service excellence, we were a bit late for breakfast and therefore the last table set. However, we were not rushed and the service was still very good thank you debs and Stuart. I especially enjoyed the full Engli
We had an excellent lunch at The Clothiers Arms yesterday, (Friday) our first visit. It was very pleasant to see some different items on their menu, which, made the eating experience so enjoyable. As my mother lives a short drive away we'll certainly be visiting again.
Went for lunch on a Sunday 12pm, just after opening with my wife and nan, there was a bit of a rush of customers, but staff handled very well. We had olives and mozzarella stick for starters which were very good. I had the Jack Daniels burger which was excellent and good sized meal, my nan had the
Bar service was great and friendly. My friends enjoyed their pies. However, I strongly advise anyone against getting the nachos - the weirdest and worst nachos I have ever eaten. I suggest the pub Googles what nachos are or just remove them from the menu…
Went here on our first night in Stroud after arriving late afternoon. The women who served us were all so friendly and patient as I took my time deciding which dessert I was going to have! The calamari was delicious (wish it came with a bit more of that lemon mayo) and my fiancé really enjoyed his s
Have driven past this pub on many occasions but this was our first visit. It had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were great and despite how busy it was the food came out in good time. The food was absolutely lovely and brilliant value for money with the portion sizes. My mum couldn't eat all of her s
Have always heard good things about this restaurant, so came with our family on Friday evening. The staff are charming and friendly and our order was taken straight away, then confirmed a few moments later as we were seated next to a large and happily noisy party. Our food was delicious and well pre
My wife and I visited the Clothier's Arms with an elderly relative for lunch on Saturday 29th July. We received a friendly welcome and ordered drinks and lunch. Quality of food and service was excellent and good value. I have no hesitation in recommending this hostelry.
Went tonight to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary. Food was amazing. There was 22 of us and everyone's food was lovely and hot. Waiting and bar staff were brilliant and compliments to the chefs also. Would recommend this pub for a beautiful meal.
