Came last night for dinner. They were busy but still good service. The man behind the bar, Jake, was so pleasant and helpful with our party. Jessica (I think maybe a manager) was really nice too and very helpful when we made a slight mistake with our order. They both are really a credit to your team and definitely made our experience. We will definitely return :) reasonably priced and also has a lovely view near the river!

I was staying with my Partner at The Premier Inn and we came to this Pub for some lunch.. Great staff and Atmosphere but I only had one issue.. I had the Fish and chips and the fish was very hard and the batter was rock hard.. Won't be having the same dish next time but I will definitely be returning..

Hi, I've just received the new Hungry Horse menu. I like this restaurant, however, I was very disappointed to see that they have discontinued the Sunday specials of 2 for £15 (including, gammon steak, mix-it-up, chicken new yorker and of course the Sunday best burger!) from the previous menu. I guess we’ll have to wait until they bring them back before returning again. It’s a shame of course but perhaps a good way to go in future would be to canvass opinion from diners to see what they would like to see on a new menu or what, perhaps more importantly, they would lament not being included! Pub clean food service for 14 people was good just forget 2 orders had to sit and wait for food while others where eating. Correct mistakes, some main food option not available due to no stock. Would go again Thanks jess for your help

Food was ok, you get what you pay for, service was nice and efficient, men's toilets were rank but ladies were clean and good. Overall, pretty good for a hungry horse

My daughter took me here Sunday for lunch we ordered off the main menu..everything was fine apart from my fish..it was all curly and the batter was so hard. I won't order fish again. Apart from that was good.

Pros: Despite it being busy we were greeted quickly by the excellent Michelle. The food arrived in no time at all and was lovely. My sirloin was cooked better than any I'd had at proper steak houses in many a year, and for once we probably didn't need the extra chips we ordered. My wife's scampi also exceeded expectation and the millionaire cheesecake was beautiful. Staff remained attentive and efficient throughout the meal. Cons: no halloumi fingers left, no vinegar available and no tartare sauce with the scampi. The ladies loos were not nice, and the decor - ripped seats etc - is not up to the standard of food and service on offer. Shame on Hungry Horse for not showing the same level of commitment as the staff.

Nice meal. Prices were low and quality was good. Pretty quick service. It was "Steak Night" and steak and chips for £8.50 is not bad at all

Had lunch here yesterday was very clean and tidy, staff where pleasant and helpful. Food was not to bad but the chips where very few the portion did not reflect the price and some ltems where over cooked but not to the point of no return. Would go again but think they should review the portion size l did find this to be the case in another branch of hungry horse tight portions.

Lovely food and great portions for the money. Everything from the food to service was great. The people working there genuinely seem to care about your experience
