What a great rrestaurant with very friendly staff the food is lovely and we've been there a few times. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Indian food.
Me and Lewis went for a cheeky ruby ,we normally have a takeaway but eat in for a change as the girls was at little mix .
The food is amazing great service ,not too badly priced !
Ask for the red sauce it’s as addictive as tgi jack Dan sauce !
I had the garlic chilli chicken and Lewis had tikka main yum !

Had a family meal for 11 on Christmas Eve. Great food and excellent service.
This was our first time going to New Shad and it was absolutely brilliant. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t stop complimenting how each dish had its own unique flavour. The portions are quite big so we ordered more than enough.
The service was exquisite. The staff greeted us with a smile, and checked up on us refilling our drinks when the glasses were empty. Fantastic! I would 100% recommend and would definitely return.
Best Indian I’ve ever been to… will always be my favourite. I go to this Indian regularly and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and are always happy to accommodate any requests. Would definitely recommend.
Had a wonderful take away from the new shad. Would definitely order again. Curry was delicious, they did forget our bread but quickly got it to us with extras. Great customer service and food. Have had a lot of bad takeaways in Medway but food was spot on from new shad. Thank you

Fancied an Indian and thought why not try the new shad, so we opted for take away but we went and ordered at the restaurant and waited for our food, we entered the restaurant and were greeted by a very polite gentleman and a lovely young woman who was behind the bar we was asked r we dining in or taking away?? so we Said take away and then we were offered a menu but we already new what we wanted etc, our food was ordered and we were invited to sit at one of the tables which were vacant to wait for our food to be ready.
While we were waiting I was looking at how Beautiful the inside of the restaurant was, the pictures on the walls were beautiful, the lighting was lovely as it set the atmosphere with what i would describe as mood lighting, the table layout and the positioning of the tables them selves just worked & went with the layout of the restaurant, and the air conditioning made the perfect atmosphere!
Even though we wasn't eating in, while we was waiting other customers food was being wheeled out on a trolley and it all looked delicious and the waiters were just so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your fully satisfied!!.
The food my gosh was delicious not one bad word to say, now when it comes to my order I always have a chicken korma wit pilau rice and peshwari naan but for some reason other restaurants put bayleaves & cumin seeds in the rice and the curry itself and I hate that but the shad doesn't have all that, The korma was beautiful and coconutty the sauce was perfect and there was enough of it and the chicken was cooked to perfection with big chunks of meat in the dish itself, The pilau rice was beautiful aswell no complaints with that , the popadoms and pershwari naan went down a treat.. I was going to include my family's food in this review but before I even sat down to eat mine they dived straight into there's ruining the photo opportunity 😅 lol but they both agree with me.. the sauces were on point , the rice's and the popadoms & peshwari
If anyone is looking for recommendations then u need to run to this place you won't be dissapointed!
I 100% will be returning and the next time we will be dining in, ♡

Went last night for my partner's birthday, we had a great time. The food was excellent, good portion sizes, got to try some new dishes. The gentleman who served us was engaging and good to chat with. We will be back.
Nice place, great staff. Food was good at a reasonable price. The interior isn't the best but the good service and food makes up for it. Was very busy even for the early evening on a Tuesday night.
The main negative is the parking, on a busy road it's hard to find.
Will definitely be going back!

Very satisfied, the chicken ceylon was lovely, the meat very succulent and tender.

Went last night myself n partner we both had a great 👍 meal n took a wee doggy bag home as very big portions so waste not want not ha ha would recommend this lovely place for food n service very attentive staff we were lucky to get a parking space just outside so no problem for us but be aware you might have to go early if booked just incase we will definitely make a return visit David n Louise
