An unasuming little pub in what feels like the middle of nowhere. With great food and friendly service, very pleasantly surprised.

Great place for a pint and a proper pub meal. Huge menu catering for every taste, basket meals for the less hungry.
Food is brilliant and served with a smile.

We went for a meal. It was really good. Prices were good too. Vegetables were freshly cooked.

Always a delight to visit this lovely pub. Michelle, David and staff look after their customers and make everyone feel welcome. The food is spot on, proper pub grub and the Sunday Roasts are gorgeous. Beautiful patio area at the back of the pub and a grass play area for the kiddies. 👍❤

After a cold and very muddy walk, we popped into this pub to enquire about Sunday lunch.
Very friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome sat by the open log fire.
Meal was very nice indeed.

This is a pub that I feel quite comfortable to pop into for a pint after a dog walk, me and monty feel equally welcome.(complimentary dog bics do help!!) The three of us found this place by accident looking for somewhere to eat whilst passing through. Great friendly staff and the food was fantastic. We all really enjoyed it, just what we needed. Easy to park and free. The food was fairly priced too. Great selection of drinks also.
We enjoyed a wonderful roast pork lunch today. Prompt & friendly service as usual. Food was great & plenty of vegetables. Would have loved a dessert but couldn't eat any more. Thank you - Martin Lynda & Charlie
Excellant value lunch, soup and crusty bread and fish, chips and mushy peas all for £7.50. Good portion sizes, my only critics is the fish batter was very pale and soggy so could have done with a few more minutes. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.
Dad and I stopped for a late supper, dad had the gammon where I had the traditional fish and chips. Dad enjoyed his very much where I left most of the batter on the fish because it was very greasy. The service was good and the food hot. The pub had a real atmosphere and in genral it was a good eveni

Michelle and the staff made us all very welcome to celebrate the 100th Birthday of our Uncle. The food was excellent very tasty and enjoyed by over 40 guests. Nothing was too much trouble for Michelle and her pleasant hard working staff who made his Birthday extra special. Big thanks to you all.
