We did not stay in there rooms , we visited my son who has just moved down the road from this lovely village pub. Decided to check it out have a few drinks and a bite to eat. We really enjoyed it , food was lovely , service was friendly and quick. Would deffo recommend to passers to stop for a drink
We don't expect frills, it's a pub. But it's clean, friendly, and happy with dogs. We visit Ely regularly and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We came across this pub whilst house hunting on Saturday 3rd September. We stopped for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had the sausage and chips in a basket. Great pub, good atmosphere, busy with locals and visitors alike. Nice to see people enjoying their evening while their dogs were sleeping under the tables.

It's good pub grub, the chips were delicious (always a good sign!) and it was good hearty tasty food at very reasonable prices. The service was good and there is a great selection of gins.

We have had two meals in here in the last few months and on both occasions the food has been excellent. Very tasty, fair price and you can tell the food was made with care by proper chefs. The staff are awesome, super friendly, welcoming and nothing was a problem. We were even able to take our dog
Had an excellent lunch. Took a party of 18 people everyone order separately but all the meals came at the same time freshly cooked hot and well presented. Definitely will go again . we were all seated together in the conservatory very nice.
