We don't expect frills, it's a pub. But it's clean, friendly, and happy with dogs. We visit Ely regularly and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Stayed here for 2 nights for work, the staff were all welcome and friendly, as there isn't much in the village we also ate / drank in the pub after work, the food was good quality especially the lasagne. The rooms were dated and could have done with a touch of paint and a bit more cleaning, the en
Lovely place and great staff. Good food and portions. The four star rating is because breakfast is not available, although the room info book says it is.
Easy parking, excellent street food at the visiting Friday food van, this week Japanese, and music. Clearly popular with the locals.
We came across this pub whilst house hunting on Saturday 3rd September. We stopped for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had the sausage and chips in a basket. The food was very hot and very nice. It was a huge portion of chips which I couldn't finish. Would definitely recomm

Was at a private function so didn't see the rooms etc. Friendly and helpful staff, place looked clean and cared for.
Good beer. Friendly staff. Patrons sociable. Good place to spend some time. Hearsay: people who have meals here told us it was good food.
We have had two meals in here in the last few months and on both occasions the food has been excellent. Very tasty, fair price and you can tell the food was made with care by proper chefs. The staff are awesome, super friendly, welcoming and nothing was a problem. We were even able to take our dog
Had an excellent lunch. Took a party of 18 people everyone order separately but all the meals came at the same time freshly cooked hot and well presented. Definitely will go again . we were all seated together in the conservatory very nice.
