Popped in for Sunday lunch after trying the burgers a few weeks ago. Both times the food was spot on, chicken burger and cauliflower cheese were great! Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. Very family friendly place that shows sports but with a nice chilled atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Glad to have this so close to home!
First visit today for a Sunday roast. We both had the lamb which was amazing. Service was superb, will definitely be back to try the normal menu. Had a roast dinner takeaway yesterday and it was just as good as our dining in experience our go to roast place now and hopefully Xmas day ! Been tonight for there American themed menu, I had the burger girlfriend had Ribs and we shared BBQ wings, buffalo wings and mozzarella fries , every thing was superb. We really love this place the staff are amazing and welcome your custom. The chefs are brilliant. You must try this place the roasts are better than when the parlour used to do them.
Still the best roast dinner around just been again today ! Superb ingredients and cooked to perfection, I always have a cauliflower extra is it's sublime.
Amazing place! My Girlfriend and I come here weekly and we always love the food, all the veg always tastes so freash and the portions are great with the customer service is excellent as they always go above and beyond to ensure you are happy, even when they make a mistake they will aways make up for it! I would highly recommend the Sunday roasts!

Friendly person behind the bar , delicious pint of Stella,pool,Darts and banging tunes on in the background!... Did I mention the huge Flat screen?... ( A bit bright if I'm honest, but that's a bit picky. Everything was just right. We felt relaxed straight away and will return to try the food at a later date...
Me and the family dined at the Hive today for a Sunday roast and I can honestly say we had a 10/10 experience. We were served by Sally and Gemma who were fantastic and made the whole evening very pleasant, so we will definitely be back. Thanks so much :)
Lovely bar staff, really nice atmosphere! Top selection of drinks and darts and pool available too. The food is honestly delicious, great value. Big shout out to Kurt for always providing impeccable service, would highly recommend to anyone in the area
Amazing food we had delivered by Shocal last Friday night! We had the baby back pork ribs, maple syrup BBQ king prawns with cornbread, the 48 hour smokey beef brisket burger with cajun fries and the Jack Daniels BBQ pulled pork burger! All perfectly cooked and so tasty! Can't wait to go back when you reopen!
Worst pool table I've ever played on. Not level at all. I saw the barstaff drag the pool table a few feet across the room, this explains why the pool table is not level. Nice place though.

I really like this place. I've been here twice and each time I come, or call, staff is absolutely fantastic. They're courteous, friendly and personable. The atmosphere is great, you can sit inside or outside. Food was really good. One night I got the filet steak that was on special and it was shockingly good, especially for only £16. The next time I got the Bieber chicken burger which was ok--the sauces don't quite mesh well for some reason, they clash, but I scraped it off and it was delicious, as was the sweet potato fries and onion rings. I had a latte that would rival any barista's, it was really good. I cant speak for the cocktails as I've only had wine, but they have a 2 for 1 cocktail night. The night I went was Drag Queen night and was fun. Parking across the street at the old post office parking lot or you can park in the parking structure and walk around. Not far from tram or bus station either.
Love this bar, especially during the week. Kurt is always lovely and looks after us all the time, makes us feel welcome. Don’t have a bad thing to say about this place definitely recommend!

I have been to The Hive multiple times for drinks, watching sports, and family meals, and I have always had a great experience. However, my most recent visit in October for a small surprise birthday celebration was truly amazing. The staff at The Hive were extremely organised and went above and beyond to make the celebration special. They offered a delicious buffet, a birthday cake, and even arranged for a guitarist to play for a couple of hours. The room setup was also perfect for our celebration.
I have always enjoyed my visits to The Hive, but this experience was truly memorable and I am grateful to the staff for their attention to detail and excellent communication. I highly recommend The Hive for any occasion and I look forward to returning in the future.
Absolutely incredible food - the vegetarian burger was better than I’ve had from speciality vegetarian restaurants charging 3x as much. And the profiteroles - oh wow! The staff were attentive, efficient, friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience for everyone in our party. I just wish I lived closer to be able to enjoy visiting again.
Tasty food. Great Service especially by Josh. Covid safe. Every time I go in I eat the super salad. Sad I know but it's great. Husband has declared that the fish and chips is the best he's eaten for a while. Triple cooked chips; soft, flaky fish and a light batter.
Comfortable setting alongside good music & vibe with friendly staff team. Three course dinner was very good plus a wide selection of drinks. Will definitely return.
Just had the 3 courses for £15, the food was amazing, both quality and value for money. I can't see this offer lasting too long so take advantage of it whilst it lasts.
We also took advantage of their drinks offer, the 2 for 1 on the cocktails. As with the food they were quality drinks for price.
