Located in the Trafford Centre it's the largest Wagamama branch I have been to. It was a very busy Saturday night and the food court was rammed. There are a lot of places to eat there but we chose W's as the queue was moving down quite quickly.
It's a well oiled machine and very efficient however given there is a large number of staff behind the servery. In hindsight, I suspect this may lead to the food may not be consistent. We were on a long table, and you can see the meals of others which confirmed my suspicions. All was good though, apart from the wife's dish not having mange tout as expected. There was a slight issue when we queried this, however the manager promptly and courteously resolved it.
Their drinks and desserts seem expensive for what they are but ultimately that's your choice.
I am not a fan of paying via the QR code but I guess it's the way of things to come and at least you can check the bill. I also wonder if the waiting staff miss out on tips.
Note, that they are extremely diligent if there is anyone with an alergy.
We went for dinner and although the restaurant was very busy we got a table and the food arrived quickly. I asked for my meal to be made spicier and they were happy to oblige. Both meals were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and tentative. Good value for money.
Food was quick and up to the usual Wagamama standard. Service was excellent with staff friendly and attentive. The pork belly buns are always to die for and make me do a little happy dance every time. My partner really enjoyed his birthday and first visit to the Trafford Centre - thank you.
