Traditional Northern dinning
We came across the restaurant by accident walking back from Old Trafford but decided by reputation to give it a try. We were welcomed and seated straight away. Drinks were served to our table and the food came. I ordered pie, chips and gravy and everything was perfect. My partner had the fish and chips.
To find the car park for the Harry Ramsden restaurant you need to drive past the KFC and keep left. We almost didn't stop as it looked closed but was open. Two sets of doors one for takeaway and one for a decent sized restaurant. Only one waitress on duty but she was great. Food very good.
I found it really good wasn't anythi g wring with it at all the presentation was perfect I 100% recommend this place to any families and ages it's just great and the staff are really welcoming and polite.
An amazing place for fish and chips as the batter for the fish was done perfectly. The owners were extremely kind to us and they even called a cab for us when we wanted to go back to our hotel.
Delicious meal served by pleasant staff invariably great atmosphere.
Second time we have been to this Harry Ramsden's. Both with my dad. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. We were not made to rush.
We both had the legendary cod meal it was £14 and some curry sauce as an extra. And as usual they were very nice. The waitress was very helpful and just about the right level of attentiveness. We had desert they were also very nice. We used a taste card which meant we got 2 for 1 mains and deserts which made it even better value for money.
First time here, my family go quite often so I thought I'd better give it a try. Great quality fish and chips! Lovely mushy peas and really nice curry sauce. We were attended to by Jean, who made our visit a brilliant one! You couldn't wish to meet a nicer person and a huge asset to Harry Ramsdens. Although I live in Bury and often eat at the Metro fish and chip restaurant. I'd definitely visit here again when passing! It's a nice relaxing place with no frills, just good nosh!
Very nice fish and chips, great service
Visited this chip shop after the match today, got served quick even though there were literally hundreds of people nearby.
The quality of the chips were ok and the fish was great and fresh.
Overall it is a nice place, one of the better fish and chips I've had but as it is next to Old Trafford it is on the pricey side (£6 for fish and chips) but that's expected for the location.
Absolutely love this restaurant, the food is always freshly cooked, huge portions and you don’t have to wait long , myself & my husband travel up from Wales to Old Trafford it’s a 3 or 4 hour journey each way ,we've only recently started going there a few months ago & every one of our visits we’ve been waited on by a “lovely lovely “ lady who’s name I've only recently found out is jean , this lady is a huge asset to the company & this restaurant , nothing is to much trouble for her , she makes the whole visit a most enjoyable one , only down side myself & my husband wished we visited this place a few years ago and not only recently , as long as this place stays open we’ll continue to go there ! Absolutely love and look forward to going ❤️ Xx
Traditional Fish n Chips gets my vote every time.🍟
Always good to visit Harry's, excellent staff make this place what it is, be kind to them and you'll have a great experience. Brilliant food always, one of my main eating places I visit regularly.
Food was nice. Fish and chips cooked in separate oil. So perfect for vegetarians or halal dietary seekers. Loved it. Expect long queues.
Great food and an excellent warm welcome. Been coming here for years and it's still the pre match meal...one thing, the diet coke was watery today
See you next visit 👍🙂
Great Fish and Chip menu, with friendly staff. Car Park is a bit limited and can get really busy when Manchester United are playing at the stadium next door.
