The Six Bells - Strensall - Photo album

My wife and stepdaughter visited the other day and shown a table in the back section. There was a sign asking people not to stand at the bar, sensible, and tables were well spaced out. It's a nice pub with a modern look from outside with plenty of parking. It is CASH ONLY, so we went to the shop
Lovely pub and good priced traditional English food, we pulled off the a64 when it was mayhem for a quick dinner break
Best burger and fries I've eaten ever. The place is managed by a family and I guess that's why it's quite traditional. Also electronic devices aren't allowed so you just have to maintain conversations the old fashioned way. I will definitely be going back when next I'm in the neighborhood.
Great grub, good company. Friendly locals and easy on the pocket. Bar exemption rules are unusual. So if you like to have your head buried in your phone or tablet and you like to curse a lot then this place is not for you. Refreshingly this place actually makes you talk... Something that is lost in
Sunday dinners here are excellent quality and excellent value. A great range of traditional drinks at extremely good prices. With the greatest landlord and staff you could ask for. Would rate it higher than 5 stars if I could
what a lovely welcome, Sunday lunch great value for money and even had Gluten free Yorkshire puddings as a Celiac I did not have to miss out
Love it ! Cosy Relaxed No pressure atmosphere.
Exceptionally good beer. Like all Sam Smiths pubs it is cheap but some can be variable in quality. In this case I reckon the landlord knows his trade and keeps the beer just about perfect.
Great pub, cheap pub. There's a rule that you don't have phones but the signs aren't very obvious and the barman was rude when I went on my phone. A part from that decent beer and standard local pub atmosphere
Fantastic traditional pub lunch ! Really friendly staff , food was delicious perfect portions , great selection of beers and nice atmosphere of locals in there , only wish me and my family lived closer so could visit more often, 10/10 thanks again for a great lunch and afternoon
Lovely local pub. Friendly staff, warm loving atmosphere and cheap local brewery prices. Great for a quiet few pints on a cold winter day.
If you want to use your phone or electronic device inside this it is pub is not for you. They won't let you. On the bright side the beer is cheap. I'm giving this a 4 star just because of that
Excellant Sunday lunch. Best roasters I've had in years. Owners couldn't fo enough.. gluten friendly..
Great pub. No electronic devices allowed ie, phones, laptops etc. This allows people to actually talk to each other 😁. No swearing either due to children allowed to eat there.
Fantastic pub. Vast range of beers and sprits. Lovely food. Nice friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. Large car park 🚗🚙👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Solid boozer, no frills, good ales and lagers, good snacks. Earthy fellow clientele. Water bowl for the dog, outside seating area. You know what you're getting here.
