We came here yesterday to celebrate a special occasion. The food was lovely, with a great variety to choose from off of the menu. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We were served by Annie who went above and beyond and even brought her doggy outside to meet us on her afternoon break. I loved t
Very friendly pub, motorbike, dog and children friendly. Not sure if they do gluten free as I only had a drink.

Went to the Bull two Sundays ago for a couple of delicious Sunday roasts. My mum had the roast beef and I had the vegetarian option. The atmosphere was relaxing and parking wasn’t an issue despite the main road being closed! Will definitely be visiting again soon
I rented one of their rooms for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. Whilst the rooms themselves are fairly basic (as should be expected from staying in a pub, after all), they had everything one would expect (towels etc.), and were clean. The staff were highly professional and genuinely friendl
The Chicken and Bacon salad is amazing. The wife had fish and loved it too. It was a great atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. I will be returning for the Sunday roast as I was told it’s lovely.
I attended the Bull for a Wake midweek lunchtime. Staff made us welcome on arrival, although they had not sorted out the tab beforehand. Slightly embarrassing for the Family that early guests had not been catered for drinks on arrival. Buffet lunch good , for a sausage aficionado, the snorkers loo
I like this pub and have been here before. We were a large table and they were very accommodating to all our needs, especially with disabled access. The only comment I would make is there was lots of food/drinks that were not available, which was a little confusing. However, all in all, we enjoyed o
The pub was a welcome sight after a long day on the Ridgeway walk. Food was nice cooked quickly and served with a smile good selection of ales and the price was right. Good size car park at the back which make changing my boots easy.
I was taken as a birthday gift. I had to choose the location. I chose the Bull as they do traditional food not expensive plates that have a small amount of so called posh food on the plate. They serve pies with a crust all around it not a dish of meat with a crust on top, that is not a pie. The four
Greeted by lovely staff. We had booked inside but as the sun was shining decided to sit in the garden. The Roast Turkey was lovely as was The Hunters Chicken that my husband had. Always really good food and service
I was staying in the area for work and I needed to stop for an extra night. The hotel I had been using was full so the new(1) secretary booked The Bull Inn. It was far better that the hotel I had been staying in. Cleaner, more modern, better food and at night far quieter for the same price. As there
Early Supper with our Grand Daughters (children). All really great. Friendly Team, great food and atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. Have booked a table for 5 in two weeks time.
Had a lovely scampi and chips which was served very hot and good selection of drinks. Live music was great. Super friendly and efficient service. Would definitely return!!
Brilliant pub in a lovely village. Excellent food, friendly and efficient staff and great value for money. Do yourself a favour and put The Bull on your must visit pubs. And you can stay here too.
Great place for food and drinks and it is cheaper priced than the other pubs in this village, handy if you are staying at the YHA it has sky sports and a beer garden at the back. Food was very tasty and they do vegan
