The Old Smiddy Strathaven - Strathaven

In a lovely location, in a pretty town, the Old Smiddy is a real find. We had a drink and a sandwich for lunch, which were good value and very tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient. Strongly recommended.

One of my favourite places ❤️. So friendly and welcoming. The food is always freshly prepared. The soup is always piping hot and rather moreish. Fabulous scones and so much more . A gem 💎 in lovely Strathaven.

Lovely tea room serving hot and cold drinks, fresh homemade soup, sandwiches, paninis or wraps and all served with tortillas and a lovely homemade coleslaw also serve wide range of cakes and scones. Lovely peaceful surroundings in the cafe or sit outside by the water. Also had a gift room and staff

Enjoyed our lunch plenty to choose from. Friendly staff. Lovely gift shop. We will be back.

Very welcoming place ideal for a quick coffee and cake or a light lunch. Lots of nice things to purchase in the adjacent gift shop. Well done guys. :0)))

We had a lovely lunch, would like to see more gluten free options on the menu though.
