One of the best restaurants I've ever been to!!. I went to Scotland for a holiday for a few weeks, and came across Taal. The restaurant was in a very scenic location, and that wasn't all! The food was the best Indian food I have ever had and the staff were really friendly- especially the young lady at the bar. The staff fulfilled all my requirements and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting again, and I would like to say thanks to everyone at Taal for such a great experience see you again!!
Our local Indian. Never disappoints and the food was excellent. I particularly like the pulled chucked spring rolls which are never on the menu but just ask for them.
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! All of the food is incredible and so tasty! The naan breads are so fresh and the vegetarian curries are so flavoursome! You must try Taal!!

Booked this restaurant for the second night of our Babymoon stay in Strathaven and it didn't disappoint!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant itself is very modern with a traditional twist.
We were spoiled for choice as the menu had a lot to offer and the smell of the food cooking made me want to sample everything!
My partner decided on the Aloo Chana Poori for starters and I got the Mushroom Poori and then for our mains my partner got the Chicken Tikka Makhani Masala and I opted for the Chicken Tikka Punjabi Farms which had a lovely little kick to it!
We went for plain pilau rice and and a Garlic Naan bread for the sides which was huge!!! The waiter described it as the size of an Elephants ear and he was not far wrong!!!
Absolutely delicious meal from start to finish, would 100% recommend and would definitely visit again if we ever came back to Strathaven!
I was treated to a meal here by friends and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and the lamb melted in the mouth. Good service too, the staff were pleasant and friendly. Would recommend.

First time here, can't fault it. If being picky the nan bread was a wee bit too sweet for me. Other than that my curry, a lamb pasanda and chicken pakora were faultless. Will definitely be back

Beautiful restaurant, modern interior, lovely setting and excellent service with cheerful efficient staff. The food didn't disappoint, it's truly amazing! Excellent food, amazing depth of flavours. I'm still thinking about the great meal we had and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
