Great little place right opposite Shakespeare's birthplace - we enjoyed a table in the window with a great view. Food is light, healthy and there are loads of vegetarian options to choose from. We had super friendly service from a guy with an impressive ginger beard (sorry, didn't get his name!)

Excellent menu, I had the homemade beans on sourdough and it was exceptional! Great staff, sunny curbside tables, gorgeous coffee and good value. Best lazy breakfast we’ve had in a long while.

Went here on a rainy day and even though they were super busy we managed to get a seat pretty quickly, great food and coffee and came out pretty quickly. Also had options for gluten free. Would recommend 🔥

Cafe on Henley Street, opposite Shakespeare's birthplace. Good coffee, although they don't offer syrups. We did not eat, but the menu had a range of vegetarian options, which looked like they could be made vegan. The waitress confirmed that the VLT (tofu) sandwiches are made with vegan mayo & are vegan.

Arcle’s Angelic So good is the service at Arcle, staff were fighting to serve me! What a beautiful, huge place. A cafe of Boston Tea House, Coffee #1 proportions. It feels more like a chain, even though it’s an independent. Their customer service, as I’ve mentioned, is superb, the most attentive of any cafe I’ve visited. Thank to the manager for answering all my coffee related questions. Given its location, its modern comfort and high service levels, it’s highly recommend.

Stopped in here for lunch just passing by, met by a very smiley young lady at the door who was very helpful and professional, showed us to a table and gave us a few minutes to look through the menu, very tasty and wholesome, my wife had toasted cheese and sweet pickle sandwich and I had the best beans on toast ever, three bean mix with their own special tomato sauce on dough bread toasted to perfection, topped off with cheese and a fried egg as extras. Absolutely amazing taste experience we were very impressed with the coffee and tea also, all in all a very tasty and healthy, filling lunch and the staff were terrific and top class.

On Saturday during the middle of the outside Food Festival, my wife and i stopped in for a cup of coffee and a few cakes to celebrate her birthday. Initial thoughts as we sat down was it's very nice, clean and friendly. Then i got the lovely and unexpected surprise of hearing the lovely background music. I quickly recognised the bass line of the song which is called "Masterpiece" by Motown legendary artists, The Temptations. As we sat there enjoying the coffee and cakes, the enjoyment got better and better as classic after classic of mainly unheard-of Soul classic songs were playing out beneath the buzz of discussions in the venue. Lovely food, hospitality, and great music. As we left, we had to congratulate the staff and (i think the owner or manager) on the great music playlist. He appreciated our comments and explained how he got to love R&B music and discovering rarely played songs like "Enjoy Yourself" by The Jacksons lead by young Michael Jackson. Ok Bye
