Visiting from the US our family walked here from downtown Stratford-upon-Avon. Maybe .7 miles each way, and well worth it. We had the goat cheese and sweet potato pie (vegetarian), fried cod with curry sauce, chicken kabob, and chips. Portions were more than enough. Chips were hot, crunchy, and solid. Cod was delicate inside and crunchy outside. The kabob meat was marinated and very flavorful. Staff were patient and very helpful. Highly recommended. We ate outside but it's clearly a favorite takeaway spot for locals.
Nice fish and chips and great attention to detail in packaging and presentation. Chips are covered in a sort of batter which gives a really crispy texture. My fish and chips were made fresh and we were given a large portion despite being a regular.
I would say the cod fish I received could have been bigger but the meal overall was a great and filling experience.
Would definitely reccomend to those who want a unique experience.
Can’t fault this chippy what so ever! Looks brilliant one of the best chippys I’ve seen, and the food is just amazing! The different curry sauces are so nice nothing wrong with this place don’t underestimate the portion sizes either really good!! Good job guys best chippy I’ve ever been in my life will be doing daily drives from Birmingham for my chippy fix😎
Came to get some lunch as we were working around the corner. The customer service was awful! We looked at reviews after and I think most people have had similar experiences. Both of the men cooking were shouting at each other about being heavy handed and were arguing. The guy who eventually served us was rude and the lady was also quite rude too. You aren’t allowed to wait inside and they abruptly ask you to wait in your car with a beeping device for when it’s ready. When we went back in, the lady was suddenly friendly. The customer service wasn’t great and all 3 of them just kept shouting/arguing with each other.
Staff aside, the actual food was lovely and we couldn’t fault it. It’s very fresh and tasted great. Just a shame that the staff let it down as it’s a lovely designed and decorated chip shop with great food x
We made a massive order (feeding 28+ people) and Yunes was brilliant with taking our order and catering to dietary requirements incl. vegetarians and vegans in our midst. He relayed the correct order back too and was honest and transparent with pricing and delivery/collection options. Would definitely recommend eating at Clopton Catch and got a 5 stars from all of us. Best fish and chips in Stratford.

The best takeaway we have had for a long time, we had Cod, it was delicious, so meaty and the fish was perfectly cooked , the batter so light and crispy, delicious Chips too. First visit and will definitely return, 5 stars from us ✨️
Really great service, big portions and a fair price. But the best part was the delicious food! Very much recommend if you're looking for fish and chips!
This is imo the best chip shop in the country seriously. All the food is cooked fresh to order so there is a bit of a wait but the give you an electronic buzzer so you can wait in your car and they let you know when your food is ready. Fish is fresh and nice thin batter and chips are fantastic. Highly recommended.

The owner, Andy, what a guy. Pride in his food, you can taste it. Oh, the chips, my god the chips…. something else I tell you. Literally the best potato product that has passed my lips.

Great food, chicken curry and chips is banging! Staff in chip shop was very polite, yunes advised me to try the chicken curry because its nice, he isn't wrong, very polite lad, couldn't ask for anything better, well impressed
Best fish and chip shop in Stratford. Used to travel a bit just to come here. But now there's the Harbour Catch also in Warwick. Great food great Great Service.

OMG, Best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life, the staff are friendly and welcoming, you get a choice of curry sauce too, which all tastes amazing too, I will definitely be coming Back here when I next visit the area !!!! 😋
