We headed into Stratford from out hotel looking for some food and entertainment. This place has it all. We started off sitting outside enjoying the evening sun and views over the river. Our food was excellent and good portions. After out meal we moved inside and waited for the band to start.
We only managed to stay for the first set but they had people up dancing in a few songs. They played a mix of blues, reggae and ska. All with their own style. I think they were called 360 but might be mistaken.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and the whole place had a great lively atmosphere. Thanks for a great night. Hope to come back again.

Both me and my wife had lunch and the burgers were the best we have ever had .Staff were very friendly and give quick service.
We visited after a dog walk for a couple of drinks and some food late afternoon on a Saturday. Sitting outside is lovely as you're right by the river. The option to order food from your phone to the table is handy except it didn't seem to accept 2 of my cards which was frustrating but the 3rd card, it had no issue with?? There was a good selection of beers (relatively) locally brewed. The waiter was knowledgeable on their selection and gave us some good tips! I ordered the standard burger at £15 which was well cooked with good quality meat and a lot of chips! My only comment would be that the chips could have been better/crispier. It all came to the table in good time though. Definitely not the best burger I've had and it's a little bit pricier here for what you get but the location makes up for it.
Great fish and chips in a beautiful location. Proper fresh fish, not oily, and sizable portions. Served fries, would've preferred chunky chips with such great fish. Service was good. There was work going on in the outside seating area which dampened the atmosphere somewhat, but all in all a great dining experience.
A really modern bar area, great selection of drinks, fantastic service and an outstanding atmosphere. Josh and Daejon were great - friendly, with a hint of banter, but with excellent professionalism. The team catered for a food allergy in a fun way which was really appreciated. The Riverside seating area is beautiful, relaxing and has a chilled vibe. This has been and will continue to be the place to nip in for a few drinks when we travel to the area again.
What can I say... we stayed locally for a couple of nights and all the staff no matter when we popped in treated us like royalty... so much so they moved a "throne" over for our dog to sit in as he doesn't like laying on a hard floor as yiu can see from the video. The work ethic from the bar and kitchen staff was wonderful to watch and the food was great! Can't wait to see you guys again...
Nice place, right by the river 😊 lovely to watch the swans swimming by.
We only went for a few drinks, it's a bit expensive but nice to enjoy sitting by the river and nice busy ish atmosphere.

UPDATE 13/08/2023 - After the previous great visit I decided to book this venues private dining space which seated up to 20 people and it was superb! The service overall was amazing and the staff as always keen and attentive. The room itself was brilliant and nicely self contained. Celebrating my 30th birthday with family and friends. The food was spot on - Birds and the Bees Burger for me, although everyone's food looked and smelled amazing.
Highly recommended and the space wasn't chargeable just needed advanced notice and also a pre-book on the meals so they ensured they could meet the meal requirements.

A fabulous experience for a late lunch at the Cox's Yard. A quiet time of day but the service was absolutely amazing. Daejon was our main waiter and he had a great lively and positive attitude, kind and courteous with a smile and charm too. Very respectful and very attentive right from walking into the venue.
The service was quick and the food was delicious, I highly recommend the chicken burger and a side of the sweet potato fries...importantly ask for the devil Mayo (fresh Scotch bonnet Mayo) it's a perfect companion to the fries for sure.
Finished off with a warm brownie and vanilla ice-cream which was beautifully warm and gooey as it should be with a dash of honeycomb crisp and garnished with mint.
End of the service was also completed by Silvia who was also very kind and helpful.
Big Kudos to the chef/kitchen team as well today - they smashed it out of the park!
All in all you can't falter the beautiful, cosy, rustic venue. And if the service was as good as today it's a Stratford-Upon-Avon must!
Great friendly service. The food was good and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered.
Loved this place ,was greater by a group of actors dressed up. Went to eat ,food was huge dishes and perfectly cooked .order the small dishes type menu and wasn't disappointed

Worked as freelance Chef here 6 years ago with Chef Mark Hands before starting my own business the place have changed but the pub kept his Soul still even with all the changes canal river a pint good fish and chips

A lovely place to dine, we were outside by the river. We watched fish swimming past.
The food was good but the menu limited. Plenty of choice for burgers but only ceasar salad and fish and chips for main meals. I had the salad which was delicious.
We sat outside overlooking the river - a very picturesque spot. We ordered pork belly bites and squid from the sharing platter menu . The food was delicious and excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly. We will certainly be going back!
Very nice atmosphere there! Lovely spot by the river with great views. Lots of sitting areas so it didn’t feel as crowded even though there was many people. The DJ was playing a nice mix of tunes, people were dancing and food was of good quality (they even do churros!). Very close to city centre and large car park (leisure centre). After dinner, go for a nice walk along the river or through the town - great idea for a chill Sunday! View from my table attached on picture.

Visited for the first time late August.
Great choice of drinks lovely setting.
We didn't eat but the food looked fantastic and We will certainly be trying it in the future.
Beautiful setting.
My only tiny criticism would be the staff didn't seem to have time to clean off the tables and many were left for a while with empty glasses and plates.
Just needs more staff to do this.
Good place to sit next to the river and have a nice drink.
Good location beside the river and outside area with pleasant views. Staff were very attentive within easy walk of the canal and waterways. Didn't eat but good selection of drinks.
Great central location. Seating outside by the river. They have a new pizza oven and nice pizzas. Service was friendly and attentive.
