There should be more stars for atmosphere! What a lovely place to be. When we went last night, the sun was shining, company was pleasant, food was lovely and the staff were amazing. So friendly, looked after us and we were genuinely welcome. Great work guys.
Food was actually quite nice. My issue was, as a solo patron, I wanted a reasonably small table (that wasn't going to get knocked my be walking along the front of the bar, but most tables were reserved for various times. Meaning I had to pick one of those and end up being shifted nearer the time or
Lovely English Pub! The food, the drinks, and the atmosphere are all first class. The parking lot was full on a Sunday eve for reason: Bell pub is a wonderful pub experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the drinks are all first class. Our party ordered the Grilled Pineapple & Chili Chicken Thighs,
Excellent service and staff are brilliant. However, didn't feel the food was as good as it used to be. Although hot and well cooked, the home made coleslaw was inedible and the salad was pretty pathetic. Put the great mixed grill back on!
Service is really good, kept very clean/tidy. Seating indoors and outdoors. Bar staff are super friendly. Great atmosphere, generally a nice little place. Had a few bowls of chips while out for some drinks, the portion sizes are very little for the price, lucky if you get half the bowl in some.
Great place. Good food from a varied menu served all afternoon up to 9:0pm. Some nice Greene King and local ales plus the usual largers. Hard working bar and kitchen staff who serve efficiently. Indoor and outdoor seating with some under cover. Good size car park though it's not far from Anne Hathaw
Staff friendly, prices are ok and food quality as well. Look at the size of the burger, just amazing!
Had the most amazing Sunday lunch here today. A party of 9 ladies. Everyone was helpful and polite and the food was absolutely gorgeous. My lamb shank melted in the mouth 🥰 Thanks to Max for serving us so well. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
Very busy on Saturday during lunchtime. Walking distance from Ann Hathaway cottage. Had a brief stop there for a coffe and cake. Bargain price of £3.49. Parking not big enough so at busy period you may struggle to find a place to park your car.
Been here several times now, 15 min walk from racecourse and only 5 min bike ride. Lots of seating inside and out.. Good selection of drinks and food..
