Very pleasant pub. Clean and tidy all round and very good quality real ale. The Butty Bach from Wye Valley Brewery was on top form. The manager is proud to serve well conditioned ale. All in all it’s a highly recommended pub. Well done 👍

I recently had a birthday get together for around 60 at the pub for my 40th birthday and it was such a great day/evening!
Ed and Emily were so welcoming and accommodating , giving us as much space as we needed and allowing us and helping us to decorate how we wanted.
There was plenty of food which came out throughout the day and evening and the stone baked pizza was delicious!!!
We were well looked after from start to finish and everyone had a fantastic time!
We will definitely bring family and friends again for special occasions!
Great homemade burgers, Gf loaded fries. Everything very clean inside and out. Friendly helpful staff and complimentary sanitary items in the ladies! We went here before visiting the Butterfly farm and the playground. Absolutely perfect Stratford afternoon. Will return 👍
Excellent place. We were a party of 12 including 5 kids. We booked in advance. The pub is nice inside + they have a covered patio area and a beer garden with lots of space for kids to run around. Our party of 12 had the entire covered patio area to ourselves, so it was perfect (see pic). Like many pubs this pub is struggling to get enough staff but I have to say we found the service to be flawless, the staff worked so hard to look after us. We ordered lots of food and many drinks and it was all flawless. The food is not gourmet, it's basic pub food, but everything we ordered was fine, and overall we had a fantastic day. BTW they have quite a few vegetarian and vegan options.

We discovered this lovely pub today in Stratford upon Avon, Emily and Eddie are new managers and made us feel really welcome. It's lovely inside and out, we had some barbecue food which was delicious.
Visiting the area and stopped off for lunch, impressed with the friendly helpful staff and good value for money. We had the classic burger and chilli con carne, both were very good. Ample parking and only a few minutes walk from the butterfly farm and town.
We went here as it's close to where we're staying. I'd read other reviews and noticed the mixture of good and bad. We took a chance and were very happy. The staff were friendly and nice, the food we had was lovely - scampi and the nachos. Desserts were good too. There was a good selection of beers. Would happily go back.

I noticed a nice looking outdoor bar area which wasn't open when we were there but looked good none the less (picture included here).
New owners so thought we would try our old local, they excelled expectations. So friendly, great food, so accommodating, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend this place
