I hardly ever eat take away especially chips but this little chippy has changed my mind, fantastic sausage and chips, very tasty huge fish too

Came here based on other reviews... they were not wrong!!! Amazing fish and chips and worth every penny. I had the haddock and chips, with curry sauce, bread and butter, and a cup of tea for £15.95. My partner had a mini cod and chips (it was not mini). The fish was definitely fresh and very tender with a perfect crisp batter. The chips were cooked lovely and a nice crisp bite but soft inside, and the curry sauce had a flavoursome aroma and complimented the chips.
I would definitely recommend here and you will love it.
Good chippy at tourist prices. The shop looks clean and the haddock is fantastic there. The portions are quite large and for £10 you can stuff yourself with a delicious English meal.
The cod is slightly smaller than the haddock, but in the end it is all about what fish you prefer.
If you want to dine in, they also have a restaurant where you can sit and dine.
The staff is quite friendly and overall seems to be a good choice 👍 👌 🙂
Very good chippy, we eat inside their resturant at the back. The lady was very friendly, the batter of the fish is very crispy, and the cod inside is flakey and sweet. Big fat chips are also great. The meal also has 2 slices of white bread, butter and a cup of tea for £13. Pretty good price. Would definately come back again.
Brilliant fish and chip shop slightly off the beaten track. The service was excellent and the food was great. The lunchtime fish and chips £4.75 came with a free curry sauce. The lunchtime £3 sausage and chips also came with a free curry, gravy, or mushy peas. Bargain! Freshly cooked and presented really well. Would visit again but live in Devon!
Best fish and chip shop in Stratford upon Avon. Worth calling in here for a non greasy cod and chips, portion size is generous also.
I was visiting and not an expert on fish and chips but we really enjoyed our food here. We were wanting some authentic fare and it seemed that way to us. The setting small and somewhat cramped but the service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely go back.
Tasty chips and fish that was cooked fresh. Sausage lunchtime special is a tad small was expecting a jumbo sausage not the mini kids one but over all really nice
Take out fish and chips. Friendly staff and the fish was really excellent. They pack your food in cardboard boxes and then stack the boxes in a sturdy carrier bag.
Great fresh fish and chips takeaway at a good price. I ordered large chips but honestly regular is enough for an adult on their own if you're having a fish too. 10 minute wait but if it comes hot and fresh it's worth it.

Travelled from Leicester tonight went to the Kingfisher chip shop the service and food were amazing. Totally recommend.
We stopped off in stratford-upon-avon overnight. We googled a fish and chip shop and this one was highly rated. So we thought, as its only a 8 minute walk from our boat we'd give it a try. When we arrived we saw a queue of people waiting outside. We found out that they had placed their orders. So we went on in. Placed ours. And then waited outside. Staff were friendly and the food tasted great when we got it back. Would recommend
