Stayed 2 nights in campervans in car park. Ate the gorgeous pub food both nights and really enjoyed it. Explored stratford only 20 mins walk away or you can catch the river taxi from a nearby campsite. We will be back.
What a wonderful Sunday roast we had today.
Presentation was lovely.
Vegetable were very tasty.
Yorkies were amazing.
Meat was fantastic.
Food was piping hot and the staff were all great.

The only thing I'd say is serving the bugers and chips in a basket doesn't look appealing as it would be on a plate.

Very friendly we watched a good game of football then had a lovely meal eight of us and Service was brilliant then when in the garden had a kick about excellent all round and definitely go again thanks .

Found this pub as we were looking for a stopover in our camper whilst we were visiting the area. So close to Stratford-on-Avon, you can walk into town. The team we met were all lovely and friendly. We had dinner in the evening and it did not disappoint.

Mark, the landlord, is a great guy. He answers emails really quickly. Dog friendly. We booked the back room as there were 12 of us which ended up being 17 but it didn't bother him. He calmly sorted it. Food great. Service from waitress/ waiter excellent. Just right balance of friendliness & respect.
It's not the 1st time we have visited or eaten at the crown, but lunch today was exceptional. Mark the manager and Chris the chef were amazing, both taking time to chat and make the experience fantastic.
