The staff welcomed us in to the Dinning room which had a wonderful ambiance and also where we ate our lovely tasty lunch, the choices on the menu all sounded so delicious so we will have to return to try the other dishes. The staff were welcoming & attentive at the right times. We would definitely recommend the Townhouse to our friends & family.

Cannot rate this beautiful boutique-style hotel enough. From the interiors, the decor, the staff, the attentive hospitality and the location - all equally made our weekend a truly unforgettable one, and one of which we cannot wait to return to!

Best hotel we have ever stayed in, in the U.K. Very friendly manager and staff, room was amazing, attention to detail was impressive, close to all the main attractions in Stratford, breakfast was top notch, would recommend to anyone going to Stratford upon Avon and will definitely be back

We visited the townhouse as a group of 26 on a hen party. The service was outstanding and the food was incredible - very high standard and amazing value! We went back the second night of our trip to enjoy the 2 for 1 on cocktails, the staff were very accommodating and so friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone and hopefully will visit again in the future! Thank you!!

A neat little boutique of an hotel within easy walking distance of the RSC. It has great food and service -which included the dulcet tones of the chef in the kitchen while we ate. It houses neat and snug little areas in which to relax, (if only we had more time) beautiful decor. Our lovely room - which had complimentary decanted port awaiting us - overlooked Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall! I'll definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a warm welcome, a beautifully decorated room with lots of luxuries and extra surprise pamper treats! All staff were friendly and eager to ensure we were well looked after! The breakfast and Gin menus were fabulous! We were welcome to dine in the hotel restaurant and they even do Sunday roasts! A Grade Two listed building amoungst all the historical splendour of Stratford Upon Avon it certainly is a true gem not to be missed!

I visited The Townhouse in October from the States. My room was amazing - on the third floor, extremely spacious, and just beautiful. Everything I needed was in my room (including fresh milk for tea). Everyone I met was so very kind. Had I known how wonderful The Townhouse is, I would have stayed an extra few days. I can’t wait to come back! You should absolutely book here!

I'm only knocking a star off as our bathroom spelt musky, and the grouting was partially black, apart from that room spotless (10). Only other down side is no parking, but we downloaded NCP app and parked 2 minutes away. Location is perfect couple of minutes walk to the main attractions. Staff extremely welcoming and professional. Good array of food and drink but continental breakfast was quit limited. All said we would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic dining experience. My partner and I enjoyed the pre-theatre menu at the Town House during our visit to Stratford. As vegetarians, we have so often come to accept the slightly disappointing bowl of pasta or the overly -salted risotto which is on offer to us whilst the meat options are given the chef’s full attention. But not at the Town House. The mushroom bruschetta was very tasty and beautifully presented, and the vegetable wellington was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. It wasn’t until the end of the meal that we found out that both were vegan too! The atmosphere in the Town House was exactly what we wanted after a long day of exploring Stratford: chilled out but not noisy, with a stylish interior and friendly staff. We’d heartily recommend eating at The Town House and will look forward to returning again.

Went to Stratford upon Avon for a day trip. Lovely sunny Sunday. Called for Sunday lunch at The Townhouse. Portions too large for me and I was able to have half the size... Photo showing half the size of the normal Sunday roast. Tastiest roast dinner I've had for years.. very helpful staff..

A beautiful 16th century building with individually decorated rooms. In a lovely central location to Strafford town centre. The service was excellent and friendly, We had B&B and the breakfast was very good with a good choice of fruit, yoghurt and pastries, or a full English breakfast.

Lovely hotel, staff welcoming and friendly. Location is fantastic. No car parking at the hotel but not an issue as a secure NCP park is within 5 mins walk

Regency style interior, with emphasis on food, it is also a hotel. A single ale available, leased from the Brakspear brewery, although none of their beers are available. Rather stoic ambiance, not helped by the muted colours of the interior, if ever there was a place crying out for a feature wall, this is it.

We felt pampered from start to finish. Lukasz helped us with everything we needed, taking our bags to the room, replacing the pillows when we asked him to, and being overall our "guardian angel" throughout the stay. The room was clean and well taken care of. The building and the rooms have great atmosphere. A mini breakfast with cornflakes, fruit, croissants and coffee/tea is included even if you don't pay for main breakfast. We had a great stay. If we ever return to Stratford, no doubt that's where we'll be staying.

We booked online for the restaurant during the day for dinner and we were not disappointed at all. We were seated at a good size table for two in the restaurant section and found the staff to be very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with the Breaded Brie & Scotch Egg and this was a nice opening starter, tasty and not too heavy. We both ordered the Sirloin steak cooked Medium. Mine was absolutely done to perfection while my partner had a slight bit of fat to it and slightly more cooked but she doesn't like to see blood so it was good. My only gripe would be there were way too many peppercorns in the sauce. The pièce de résistance was the Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae which was also recommended by the waiter and it did not disappoint. We wanted to go back the following night just to have this! With 3 glasses of wine and water, the bill came to more than 3 figures but we didn't leave feeling hungry or hard done by. We would definitely visit again in the future.

We came here for the evening after our wedding. The food was incredible and service was amazing. Rooms were really lovely, comfy bed, massive bath! Breakfast was great as well. The manager Dan was fantastic, and the whole team made our evening really wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back for an anniversary meal!

Cheeky drink last Thursday. I've had their mulled wine accompanied by the most amazingly delicious mince pies (and I don't actually like mince pies). Definitely recommend. We will be coming back to try their pizza as per Lisa's recommendation, can't wait to try it!

We stayed at this location for one night. Totally blown away by the location. The room was spacious and really clean, there would be no faults if this one was featured on 4 in a bed. The service and food for evening meal was outstanding. I had the burger and it was one of the best I have ever tasted. The breakfast was so well presented and tasted delicious. The Manager was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a two night stay here to facilitate our trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. The staff were friendly and helpfull.
