Sunday 8th July 2019. Been going Stratford over the years. Nothing changes but we like it. Only an hour from home and it's a great wee town on the Avon. Always use this pub on our walk round. Lovely. Oldie wordly inside. Great staff. Good menu. Had Sunday dinner here before but not this time it was too hot. We shared ham/cheese toastie and cod goujons with a small bowl of chips. Brilliant beer garden on the back with massive sun brolleys. Never had a bad visit. See you all next year .. Can we have the same again please ?

A gem of a pub in a gem of a town. I am visiting from the States and felt very welcome here. I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday Roast and pint of local brew. The Windmill is just far enough off the beaten path to not attract swaths of tourists but still be lively. A great experience!

Love this place the food and service are excellent . Was there last week for my friends birthday who lives in Stratford. What I like about it is you drive down the side of the eatery and park around the back. Puddings are scrumptious, Prosecco 2 x glasses for £6.00 ideal to toast the birthday girl and lovely big cups of creamy frothy coffee. Great value for money

We absolutely loved The Windmill in Stratford upon Avon!! The atmosphere was fantastic, the young publican was extremely friendly and helpful with travel recommendations, the beer was cold and the food delicious (especially the Steak and Ale Pie and the Burger 👍👍). Would highly recommend. Well worth a visit.

If you like your food in a simple but very good way: Visit Windmill. It was very tasty (I ate three hours ago and can still taste it 🤤🤤).

Good pub, a little off the tourist trap, a low beamed interior, with a pleasant courtyard to be enjoyed in Summer . A couple of real ales are served.

Very historic! Sit inside or outside , order at the bar. Great beers and menu. We had the steak and ale pie and the salmon/cheddar fish cakes. Both are fantastic! Service great, even when so busy. We loved our experience ❤️

A nice rear patio. A quaint old pub inside. A good choice of beers. The food was excellent: it came quickly, and was of great quality. I had the Big Fish and Chips, it was superb for £13.95. See pic (partly eaten because it was so good!)

The food was very well presented and tasty. The service was very good too and dogs are welcome. They cater to people that need gluten free options.

Went there this evening with my son for a belated mother's day meal I had the chicken and mushroom pie and mash, it was delicious my son had the steak on a skewer and chips and it looked scummy his partner had the epping ham egg and chips which also looked tasty, for pudding my son had the ice-cream while I and his partner had homemade apple pie and ice cream which also was excellent, definitely go back again. And very reasonably priced.

The food and the service was decent. Drinks were a bit dear but then again most things are nowadays. And they were the first pub we could find that was open. They do offer vegetarian/vegan mushroom pie which was good. The fish and chips were big enough for my two kids to share. As an added bonus it was an eye opener for my American kids (I am English but my kids are born and raised there) there could be establishments around for over 300 years 😉

Just down the road from where I'm staying in Stratford, lovely pub. Fantastic food, well priced. Delicious G&T. Friendly & attentive staff, couldn't ask for more - wish it was my local!
