If you like your food in a simple but very good way: Visit Windmill. It was very tasty (I ate three hours ago and can still taste it 🤤🤤).

Good pub, a little off the tourist trap, a low beamed interior, with a pleasant courtyard to be enjoyed in Summer . A couple of real ales are served.

Very historic! Sit inside or outside , order at the bar. Great beers and menu. We had the steak and ale pie and the salmon/cheddar fish cakes. Both are fantastic! Service great, even when so busy. We loved our experience ❤️

A nice rear patio. A quaint old pub inside. A good choice of beers. The food was excellent: it came quickly, and was of great quality. I had the Big Fish and Chips, it was superb for £13.95. See pic (partly eaten because it was so good!)

The food was very well presented and tasty. The service was very good too and dogs are welcome. They cater to people that need gluten free options.

Went there this evening with my son for a belated mother's day meal I had the chicken and mushroom pie and mash, it was delicious my son had the steak on a skewer and chips and it looked scummy his partner had the epping ham egg and chips which also looked tasty, for pudding my son had the ice-cream

The food and the service was decent. Drinks were a bit dear but then again most things are nowadays. And they were the first pub we could find that was open. Just down the road from where I'm staying in Stratford, lovely pub. Fantastic food, well priced. Delicious G&T. Friendly & attentive staff, couldn't ask for more - wish it was my local!
