Tickets to see Anthony & Cleopatra....a pre show meal. Great venue for a meal anyway and considering the kitchen are getting meals out for theatre goers...they do / and did an amazing job. The menu of 1 , 2 and 3 courses had a great choice , the starters , mains and desserts all fresh ingredients, freshly cooked and moreish......... The waiting staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you're going to the theatre or you just want a really good meal....head for The Rooftop Restaurant.

Lovely dinner -again. We love the Rooftop! I had Bloody Mary tomato salad which was fresh with subtle notes of Worcester sauce and vodka, then crab linguine, perfectly cooked with a rich, generous crab sauce and scrumptious real chocolate tart. A great place to eat.

We always eat in the Rooftop Restaurant when we attend an RSC performance and we are never disappointed. The staff are friendly and polite, the service is speedy and the food is always excellent plus you have the comfort of knowing that you will not be late for a performance!

Staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the decor and atmosphere were great and the vegan high tea was very nice, especially the whipped cream and the mushroom sandwiches! There should be more mushroom sandwiches!

It was great, we only had a drink, but that barman is a dab hand at the cocktails. We sat in those comfy chairs looking out the window watching the world go by, I have to say the market stall tents, gardens and people below felt like I was part of a jigsaw puzzle, brilliant. We did come up the lift but went down the stairs, and that is not to be missed either. A really great place to be.

Lovely champagne High Tea. Great view over the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a bit miffed at them automatically adding 10% to the bill. I would happily have left the waitresses a tip.

Me and my mum have an annual trip to Stratford upon Avon, we always book a table here, and we've never been disappointed. Beautiful, well portioned and delicious food and the staff are always so friendly, knowledgeable and polite. We order from the pre-theatre set menu which is reasonably priced considering the standard of the food. Can't wait to come back.

I was pleased that despite needing a gluten free meal, there was plenty of choice available on the menu and that dishes could be adapted to meet my needs. Our waitress was very helpful. We always enjoy dining here and do so, even if we're not going to a performance.

Our server, Tom, was very friendly and supportive. A credit to the RSC restaurant. He answered all our queries about the food, it was service with a smile all the time. He made our visit very enjoyable. We had 3 courses, not usual for us, and found the portions just right. The food was excellent. A very good dining experience.

Only at the RSC for a meal, excellent food and very fast service. 1 x 2 course(£29) and 1 x 3 course(£31),plus bottle of merlot(£24). £94 including standard service charge. Well worth it.

Beautiful food, lovely views. We couldn't get a table for the Saturday evening pre-performance, but were offered a Sunday afternoon slot, which was probably more relaxed too. You can pre order afternoon tea, or enjoy the main menu, which is lovely

We were early for our reservation but our party of five was accommodated at a fabulous table looking out over the river. The food was excellent and catered well for the vegan who was one of our group. The atmosphere was relaxed - we spent a comfortable three hours over our meal - and the service was courteous and efficient. We had a lovely meal and a first rate experience.

We had an amazing time with a big group. They catered to all dietary restrictions and were so attentive to everyone. We were 70 people and the night went so smoothly. We were all really impressed. The food arrived hot, was delicious, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and great views!

We had accidentally booked the restaurant for the wrong day so we nipped in before our matinee and the maître’d and manager very thoughtfully worked out a way to squeeze 5 of us in, despite it being fully booked. We all found the food to be excellent, as was the service. Our waiter, Tom, couldn’t have been nicer, or funnier. A really great dining experience - thank you!

Had a pre theatre meal at the rooftop restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The only small niggle being it would be nice to have two slices of sourdough with the pate not just one! A relaxed evening was had by all.

Ordered the fish for my main meal. Unfortunately it was slightly more boney than I expected, so I was disappointed with my choice. I told the waitress when she asked me how my meal was and without hesitation she asked me to choose a different dish and took the fish away. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Lovely restaurant for a pre theatre meal. Reasonably priced. Ten out of ten.

I have dined here, pre-theatre visit, a few times now and they have never disappointed. The staff are attentive, the food delicious and they have timings to such a fine art, you can always be confident that you will be finished in good time for the performance. I had the beef sirloin yesterday evening and it was melt-in-the-mouth tender.

A nice place to spend some time (and money) before the show. The service is friendly and rather swift, the food tastes good and looks so. I'd gave them 5* if they had a longer menu, and the servings were bigger, or prices - lower 🤗

Turned up on 21st Sept with a booking for 21st Dec. My fault. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. We got a table - no problem. 🙂
