An unexpected pleasant experience in this tea room in Stratford upon Avon. We walked in initially to get out of the rain, but also to gorge on afternoon tea. What a lovely surprise. Beautiful, scones warm and freshly made, the teas were not t bags and you got your own personal little sieve and quaint teapot. Definitely would recommend and inexpensive, for us, at least. We wobbled out. Well done, Bensons!

Have been going to Benson's for many years and the standard of food and service has always been excellent. The £5 breakfast is a lovely way to start the day and the amount you get is perfect. The quality of the ingredients is second to none. A lovely experience every time and a place I will keep going back to

really loved our GF afternoon tea yesterday; excellent price too! Husband says the disabled loo is one of the best he has been in. Wanted to get back in for breakfast but didn't like the look of the weather...

We had a wonderfully delicious brunch here today to celebrate a family birthday. Friendly and attentive staff with super quick food service. The cafe is really nicely decorated and literally a stones throw from William Shakespeare's birthplace and museum so centrally located in Stratford. Highly recommended. We shall return! 🙂

A surprisingly reasonably priced place considering its touristy location. Practically the only joint in town still open at 4.30 on a damp Monday. The lemon and orange cake was generously sliced and very delicious. Nice to sit and look at the Birthplace too.

Amazing for gluten free! I am coeliac and I got the GF bacon and brie toastie which came with GF fries that are cooked in a separate fryer to prevent traces/gluten contamination. I also got a GF plain scone and it was so yummy. It is located in a beautiful part of town and the staff are friendly and helpful. Bensons Restaurant is a clean and welcoming place that I would love to visit again in the future.

Excellent breakfast in Stratford. Gets busy so be prepared for a wait as all cooked to order and that may mean 20+ minutes before you get fed! We had the full English with bottomless refill coffee so had a couple while we waited. Staff really switched on and friendly and food was good although we had to send a bit of bacon back as we wanted well done and it wasn't, but no hassle in changing. Good prices too which is always a good thing in somewhere like Stratford.

Visit - half price presecco afternoon tea vouchers x4 Interior - oak beams dressed with flower vines gave a pretty vibe. Menu - you were able to choose the sandwich you wanted for your afternoon tea, from memory cheese and pickle, cheese and tomato, cheese and onion, brie and chutney, ham and tomato, Tuna and cucumber, traditional cucumber. You had the choice of white or brown bread . Sandwiches were freshly made , bread was nice and soft much preferred being able to choose its a great feature. Scone cream and jam were served with small serving of chocolate brownie and piece of cake. Followed by a pot of tea Would recommend really enjoyed this deal. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

What a lovely tea room, really lovely staff with a fantastic selection of goodies to make it the best tea room. They have a comprehensive selection of tea that you can buy by the bag, a must visit if you're in the area!

Both partner and myself went for the lunch specials and although it was actually put together well and tasted alright , it was slightly over priced (for what it was £8 should have been the max) and considering the portion sizes wasn't that generous either. Service... Took its time but with only 2 that I can see buzzing around for such a busy day, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and when they did serve us, service was good. Location superb, nice to sit outside and soak whatever is left of the British summer.
