Under new management and excellent new chef, this pub is great place to pop into if you're in Mortimer! We enjoyed a great lunch meal today and can't wait to try their dinner menu too. Friendly village pub with regular local patrons. Food was a bit expensive for what it was so wouldn't recommend for that but had a decent selection of drinks. They also have St James Way stamps.

The horse and groom has a new chef and supper last night was fab!

One of my local pubs, new business owners and the improvement is very noticeable. Not eaten yet but the beer is always good, nice outdoor space overlooking the fairground.

My 2 sons and husband took my mother and I to the Horse and Groom for a Mother’s Day lunch. We had a wonderfully cooked roast dinner. The roast potatoes were perfectly crunchy, the meat tender and veggies spot on. Thank you Emma and Dan.
