We both enjoyed our spiced coriander soup, not too spicy with great flavours. A touch too much salt which was competing with the flavours a bit, which can always be added at the table. Arrived with no booking. It was our 44th wedding anniversary so wanted something a little bit more 'special'. We were not disappointed. Everything was perfect. Two courses for £22 each so was also a good price. Service great and everyone friendly. Thank you. Highly recommended.
We did lunch on Saturday & so impressed we came back for dinner tonight & brought friends. The food was spectacular on both occasions. The staff are helpful, friendly & just a delight . Probably our best ever place to eat & recommend to our friends.
Great atmosphere, and fantastic food. Fair price, and great cocktails. Service *** because we ordered 2 desserts but received just one, when asked staff for another one they served very quickly. After checking the bill at home we realised we were charged three times for two desserts.
Lovely welcome by waitress, seated and offered a very varied Menu. My husband still raves about the excellent seafood linguine and my cod was coated with a delicious light batter, just right. Desserts were exceptional. Highly recommended.
Great place. They took a quick reservation from us and even made space for us to stay for a bit longer. Food is the best in the area but quite pricey but also is worth the price. Great place overall with good opening hours would strongly recommend
Exceptional flavours, generous portions, lovely staff - a wonderful find! We went for dinner and would highly recommend it. The fish burger was exceptional - only available on Friday as part of their special surf and turf menu. The salt and pepper saids starter was a marvel.
Well worth the drive, roast beef was outstanding. Food amazing, staff so friendly and welcoming.
They stock stonewell cider hard to find in the north.

Stumbled upon this place after a walk on the down coast. We weren’t expecting much but the service and food was lovely.
We had a sharing dessert platter. Highlights included clandeboye panna cotta and a delicious lemon tart. Highly recommend

Absolutely recommend the Artisan.We booked the Deluxe room with the stay and dine package for my daughter's 40th birthday.Excellent dinner and breakfast.What a treat!
This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it is a great spot: beautifully finished interior, creative menu and very tasty food which is well presented. Definitely recommend this wee gem if you are visiting Strangford, and they have a kids menu as well.
Great place, staff were excellent, we didn’t have a reservation and they were very accommodating for 3 adults and four young children. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and the decor is superb. Kids meals were good. I had lamb rump served with veg and champ and it was fantastic. Monkfis
