An excellent place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Lovely room, and power shower.
Parking around the back and placed just a five minute walk from the high street.
Reception and bar staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast in the morning had plenty of choices start
I have stayed at Sheep on sheep street twice now, enjoyed both occasions.
The property is extremely well located in Stow-on-the-wolds, with shops, bars and other restaurants within a minute walk.
Good car parking at the rear of the property. The rooms are well equipped for its standard, some of the
Held my 50th birthday party there and the team were absolutely exceptional. Holly in particular was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and she made the whole evening enjoyable for all. The food was superb as well. I cannot fault anything. Thank you
We love the Honeycomb Houses, we have stayed in 2 others many times. This is our first time at Sheep on Sheep Street and we had the most amazing time.
Our room was lovely and comfortable, the service fantastic, we went specially to celebrate my dog’s and they couldn’t do enough for him. A fanta
John the owner/manager was just wonderful. He was so hardworking and always friendly, even trying diligently to explain rugby to a group of clueless Americans. Our room was also quite nice, with plenty of room and very comfortable beds.
A lovely hotel with a wonderful breakfast menu. Lovely fresh yogurt and raspberry compote, croissants and granola, then buttermilk pancakes with maple butter and bacon. Our main floor room was comfortable even during a September heat wave, with a fan in front of the open window at night. Upper floor
Great 2-night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Heated towel rack was great. Attached restaurant provided good food and prompt courteous service. No complaints, would happily return.
We went here for my 30th birthday dinner, food was lovely and when my husbands steak was over cooked they were happy to accommodate and redo his steak with a free drink as an apology which was great and a rare experience these days. I even got a complimentary glass of fizz to celebrate my birthday!
Had a lovely lunch here, arrived at a very busy time but the staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. The Pichana steak was cooked perfectly and was the best steak I've had in a long time, with a bonus mini steak and ale pie on the side!
Actually sat us early. Friendly staff, great food, attentive but not overbearing. All of the staff were very engaging and polite. Excellent night out.
Rooms were clean and updated. Beds and bedding comfortable and clean. Attached restaurant food very well prepared and well priced.
Only thing that was a problem was hooking up to their WiFi. It was complicated and you had to sign up for spam mail in order to use it.
Other than that, I would recom
Had a wonderful 2 days here with friends, last week ‘stow on the wold’ on our way to st Ives . Our friends had stayed before and loved it …we were not disappointed, we loved it too. Beautiful room , very spacious , beds so comfortable ,everything we needed..

Super comfortable little hotel in the heart of town, accessible to shopping and restaurants. On board restaurant has great pizza and full bar. Beds were quite nice.
We had a wonderful meal at the Sheep in Stow on Wednesday. The food was freshly cooked and tasty, good atmosphere, nice decor, etc. But what made it really special was the lady who served us, Nicky. She was polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she really knew the answers to all our que
We hired out the Pen at the Sheep for a pre-wedding party in July, we had the most wonderful night celebrating and the Pen was the perfect location.
The staff were all amazing but a special mention to John, Andy, Molly, Holly and Dylan who all went out of their way to make sure the night was perfect
