Fantastic Sunday roast served at 4pm on a Sunday. Lovely staff who were really friendly. Great atmosphere and really reasonably priced for the quality of meal. Definitely recommend!
Good pub under new management. Roast chicken tasted fresh not frozen roast potatoes were crispy. veg was amazingly tasty! Nice pint of 6X too!
Well done & TOP MARKS!❤️
Having been stymied by the other 'locals' on a Sunday evening (by me having the audacity to desire a pint after 8:30), I was delighted to find an honest welcome in The Talbot, Stow-on-the-Wold!
The easy, warm friendliness of the inimitable Ms Alana invites you to trial the variety of victuals on offer, with seemingly boundless energy, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Adam is a generous landlord who has wonderful positivity and hospitality.
An absolute gem in the Cotswolds.
A five star rating if ever was deserved.
Sit outside in the sun or inside this spacious traditional English pub in the two centre.
Non-alcoholic ginger beer and Aperol Spritz cost £14.50 which we felt was a bit pricey but liked the ability to sit outside. Order at the bar.
Right on Market Square this pub provides a nice, traditional, ambiance without being overly stuffy. Popped in for a quick (Henry's) cider that was refreshing.
Excellent. Had the Roast Beef, even provided a small roast for my granddaughter, compliments to the chef Ryan. Superb food, lovely atmosphere with music and made to feel very welcome. Thank you
Great service. Very good pate and super, tasty garlic mushrooms. From a personal viewpoint, some butter would have been nice.
Service was friendly and personable. Food was solid but not extraordinary. Stick to traditional pub fare and you won't be disappointed. I recommend the pork and chive sausages.
Love it here .. just a stunning site in a stunning town.. I feel great things for this pub x
Loved the staff and vibe in there! We sat with the owner and bartender for hours and had the best time
