Just had a fantastic couple of evenings at this unspoilt pub. Local ale, excellent food and very friendly staff make this little gem a must to visit in Stow.

Never spent any time in Stowe, it's always been a drive though "isn't it pretty". Need a longer visit now as it's absolutely fabulous! Had dinner at the Queens Head Inn. Gorgeous jungle garden. Personable staff and great food. Hubby loved the BB beer, had a taste and I certainly agree. I had the rosé on special... Truly delicious. Empty plates. Nuff said

A lovely little Inn set in the Market Square of Stow-on-the-wold.. Staff friendly and helpful and friendly atmosphere. Had food which was really nice and hot and value for money. Plenty of parking in the square. This is set with other nice surrounding shops and a lodge. The town centre has a nice variation of shops. Would definitely use this Inn again and recommend

The atmosphere was friendly and the service was excellent. I had a perfectly nice pub lunch (puffed pastry over beef with peas and chips) and a pint of local ale. As a tourist, I went in looking for a good English pub experience and left happy and satisfied.

Had an absolutely delicious roast here on Sunday evening. Great, lively atmosphere and the roast was the best pub roast we have ever had. Everything was cooked just the way we like it - especially the homemade Yorkshire puds, beautifully cheesy cauli cheese, tender meat and all the trimmings. Highly recommended and we will definitely return. Thank you to Andrew and the team.

Lovely food served by super friendly staff - so pleased we stopped here to eat.. it doesn't look much from the outside, but inside, it's a lovely pub. Whilst the ladies toilets were okay, my husband said the mens were the worst ever with cleanliness featuring nowhere amidst the crumbling tiles and like something out of the dark ages. Other than that - recommended!

The food was top notch, great value for money and very well tasting. The staff would do laps of the pub and instantly be on the case of more drinks or food which was a first for any pub I've been in this year. 10/10 service. Building wise, it's a great old pub with beautiful features, and a rear yard with plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the weather.

Nice food, good portions & great service. Great that menu could be adopted for the kids. Oh and do go for the dessert, you deserve it. Served local ale. Always nice.
